REASONS WHY YOUR SCREEN PLAY SUCKS
BAD WRITING ! KNOW HOW TO FIX
Have you written or currently writing a screenplay? If so you have the same question going through your head. How do I know if its good? Or at least good enough to send to readers, producers, etc.? It’s hard to see the flaws in your masterpiece, but real writing is rewriting. At least that’s what Aaron Sorkin said. . Use these to write and rewrite
1.) Zero Grammer and Misspellings Errors
This tip might be a no brainer but double check your work. Nothing turns people off more than reading and seeing errors. You throw readers right out of your story.
2.) The first page contains white space
Have your first and sometimes the second-page limit description. Yes, you want to set the scene, but you also want the reader to turn the page. Having overwritten big blocks of description text makes your script seem more like a novel than a screenplay. Take a look at the example below.
3.) We Know who the Protagonist is Sooner than Later
The questions all script reader have are:
Who is this character? (or characters)
What do they want?
How are they going to get it?
What happens if they don’t? Answer those questions
4.) The story is Revealed not Given
Think about every movie you’ve seen that telegraphed the story. I mean in the first 10 minutes you can predict the ending. I hate these movies as a writer, and I bet you don’t care for them either. Give your story some mystery. One way Quentin Tarantino does it is by writing without knowing the end.
8.) It Leaves Behavior to the Reader’s Imagination
I made this bad habit in the past before I realized it was terrible when I gave actor instructions.

She grabbed his face with her hand.
He sat with his legs crossed gently smiling as if he wasn't impressed.
These will be ignored by the director and producer anyway, and they add unnecessary words to your screenplay. Allow actors to express that freely.

This kind of writing and dialogue is one of a kind.

BRUCE WAYNE :you're a vigilante?

HENRY DUCHAN:No no no, a vigilante is just a man in the scramble for his own gratification, he can be destroyed or locked up. But if you make yourself more than just a man, If you devote yourself to an ideal, and if they can't stop you. Then you become something else entirely

GREEN SCREEN VS ON SET PROJECTION :
Is the green screen dying?

Green screens - or Chroma key technology - have been a staple part of filmmaking for many years. First introduced in the late 1930s, it was soon recognised as one of the most inventive techniques for creating effects in film and television broadcasting.

Green screening is the secret to pulling your subject out of the real world and placing him or her into a digital domain. The finished effects are awesome. But it’s not all as simple as it sounds.

There is a painstaking art to reach the desired result. There are many complexities and disadvantages to this technology too, from imperfections to heavy post production. One of the most vital factors when using green screen; lighting can cause a massive headache.

Ensuing experiments with newer technologies are proving to be more flexible, cost effective and avoid these difficulties; in fact, lighting becomes a benefit.

These technologies include LED and projection mapping. Of late we’ve seen an increase in the use of projection mapping to replace green screen; changing the production set up and ultimately the result. Rapid advancement in these technologies, the rise of 4k projection and the rumoured product launch of an 8K projector will pave the way for detailed, realistic backdrops and may even be brilliant enough for close up shots.

Infamous film Director, Joseph Kosinski had the idea to shoot as much of a movie ‘in camera’ as possible. The team filmed actual footage on location then projected onto huge screens which wrapped the set. There were many other advantages to doing this such as, being able to use reflective surfaces and the light reflections of the projection providing a natural lighting of the actors. Adding another dimension to the footage were the reflections of the content in the actor’s eyes. The actors felt they were right in the environment and could ‘immersive themselves more deeply into the story’.

MEISNER TECHNIQUE :
WHAT IS IT AND WHO USES IT PLUS WHY U MUST LEARN IT AND WITH WHOM:
Chances are you have heard the phrase, “Acting is living truthfully under imaginary circumstances.” That coined catchphrase was the mission of legendary acting guru Sanford Meisner, whose techniques have shaped the American understanding of what qualifies as good acting.
The Meisner technique will make you a better actor by forcing you to be in the moment with your scene partners.

You will notice that your approach to performing a scene onstage will feel fundamentally different because you’ll be attacking the “given circumstances” of the character from a different angle; you will be relying on observation and presence to register stimuli from your scene partners and the stakes of the plot to encourage and provoke your acting choices—which will force you to listen and react with clarity.
Who are some famous actors who studied Meisner?
Alec Baldwin
Jeff Bridges
Stephen Colbert
Tom Cruise
Alexandra Daddario
Tina Fey
James Franco
Jeff Goldblum
Grace Kelly
Christopher Lloyd
Gregory Peck
Michelle Pheiffer
Mary Steenburgen
Naomi Watts
Lessons will begin soon for those interested. Keep close better your acting

WHY THE SCRIPT IS IMPORTANT FOR A ACTOR /ACTRESS.
An actor’s only goal is to portray truth, and truth is not the same as ‘reality’. Your objective as an actor is to behave truthfully. That is to behave in the way that ‘this person’ (the character) would behave if they were in ‘this situation’ (the given circumstances of the story).
However, the script is your starting point for achieving truth. The script is much, much more than pages of dialogue and action. The script tells you some things about who this person is. If it’s a well written script it tells you many things about that, possibly (though not likely) enough things to create a character. In most cases you will need to do a lot more than simply study the script.

Unfortunately, badly written scripts will likely tell you either not enough about character, or they’ll tell you far too much. If it’s the latter, then your choices will be so few that the character will be a cardboard cutout anyway.
But above all learn how to act basing on the script as an actor you must not let your own personal traits infiltrate the characters traits.
Accept to shift the character's (in script ) feelings in your body and assume a different personality.
