Why?
Here’s a long story about a 30 sec conversation i had with my friend Ahmed who works at my local gas station, a few years ago he told me he likes Stuffing on Thanksgiving .
So a few years ago while I was cooking for my whole family I would make him stuffing , drop it off to him because he had to work till 1 o’clock on Thanksgiving.
This morning I went in with the expectation that I would make him some stuffing to get help get through his day.
I asked him what time he was working till 1pm.
His reply was “please don’t make it for me today I’m trying to lose some weight”..
He then replied with” I’m trying to be like you”
What I said in my head “why would anybody want to be like me”.
Like”me”
he was quick to respond “in the past 1.5 yrs you’ve stopped buying energy drinks, snacks and your always on the way to work or the gym and talking about your family and the changes youve made are eveident.
Wow so if youve read this whole post thanks and to alot of the people I follow .
Keep doing what your doing and give thanks, you never know who wants to be like “you”

seems like yesterday you came in to our lives ... one of the best days of my life when i became “your dad”.
Your grandparents are so proud if the young man you have become!
