The enemy will be exposed—whether we like it or not. Ignorance of God’s Word is one thing, but knowing His Word and choosing to disobey it is far worse.

[4] For how can those who abandon their faith be brought back to repent again? They were once in God's light; they tasted heaven's gift and received their share of the Holy Spirit;

Let this serve as a sobering reminder: walking away from the truth brings shame not only to us but to Christ Himself. Let us not take lightly the grace and enlightenment we have received.

To be ready is to turn back from sin and be selfless.

Do not be bribed by feelings and society.

Stand firm and take up your cross daily.

Realize that nothing is greater than God.

Earthly status and achievements and political status are all laughable compared to God's heavenly riches.

Certificates, achievements, possessions will all be dissolved.

Everything will fade away but the Words of God will be the same forever and ever.

Israel - means chosen people that wrestles with God.

In the spiritual sense, wrestling with God is a struggle between our sinful nature and submitting to God's Word as chosen people of God.

I wrestle with my bad thoughts everyday.

The Bible provides clear guidance on managing our thoughts and aligning them with God's will. Here are several key passages that encourage rejecting negative or harmful thoughts and aligning our minds with God's Word:

1. 2 Corinthians 10:5 - "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."

This verse reminds us to be vigilant in "taking captive" every thought, making sure it aligns with Christ’s truth. It speaks to an active, intentional approach to disciplining our minds.

2. Philippians 4:8 - "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."

Paul teaches us here to fill our minds with things that honor God. By focusing on virtues, we crowd out space for negativity and sinful thoughts.

3. Romans 12:2 - "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Boasting in outward appearances when it comes to possessions or clothing—children as young as five years old are already preoccupied with looking good. Kids are watching indecent shows, passing around s*x scandals, teens indulging in late-night parties and drunkenness, unstable relationships seeking a satisfaction they cannot find, lust occupying both the mind and the way they dress (just look at how today's youth dress). Drug abuse, early pregnancies, and all kinds of worldly desires are rampant. In schools, there are even more books on witchcraft being read instead of the Holy Bible. All of this is happening because of the lack of sharing the Word of God. We are living in a fallen world, and only the Word of the Lord can open the eyes of these lost souls.

The enemy is deceiving this generation, pulling them deeper into darkness. We need to fill the gap by sharing the truth of the Scriptures, especially with our children and the youth. They are the enemy's targets, but only the truth of Christ can set them free. We must rise up and prioritize Bible studies even more, so that the light of God's Word shines into their hearts and protects them from the schemes of the devil.

As it is written, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). The battle is spiritual, and we need to arm this generation with the Word of God, for only His truth can break the chains of deception and sin that bind them.

Once saved always saved teachers capitalizes on the weakness of the human flesh, that is why those who listen to them gets their ears tickled because there is no need to deny the flesh.

To prove that following do's and don'ts without sincerity is not genuine, but following out of love becomes natural, we can refer to several Bible verses.

1. 1 John 5:3 - "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome."
- This verse shows that when obedience comes from love for God, it is not heavy or difficult, but becomes natural and light.

2. John 14:15 - "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."
- Here, it is shown that following Jesus' commands is a result of our love for Him. Love becomes the reason for our obedience, not just obligation.

3. Matthew 22:37-40 - "And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."
- These two commandments encompass the entire Law. When love for God and for others is the root of our actions, following the Law becomes natural.

4. Romans 13:10 - "Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law."
- This verse shows that true obedience to the Law is rooted in love.

Through these verses, we can see that obedience that comes from love is natural and sincere, whereas obedience out of mere obligation is not genuine and can be burdensome.

Hey guys! I just want to share my experience at this Hindu wedding. Disclaimer: It’s a bit long, but you’ll surely learn something from it.

In this wedding, I saw that they have many rituals in their ceremonies, and Hindu weddings are really long! While their priest recited numerous prayers, the bride and groom were pretending to scoop imaginary liquid from a plate and pour it onto a plate with money. I called it imaginary because they weren’t actually scooping anything with the spoon; it’s just part of their ritual. Maybe they were also praying to their money god. There were many more rituals, but I’ll keep it short. To cut the story short, I was shooting this Hindu wedding from 6 am to 3 pm because it was really long, filled with repeated prayers and traditions. Actually, it’s not yet finished, and I’ll go back there later for part 2!

I also saw that they have many idols: Buddha and various statues that they worship, from an elephant with many hands to a black cow. They even place money on these statues that I know can’t move or speak. I don’t understand why people turn a blind eye to this kind of worship.

It made me think, do we really need to do these things to be close to God? Do we need countless prayers to approach God? The Bible says that God desires a change of heart. Even if we recite countless repeated prayers and kneel and prostrate ourselves multiple times in church, if we do not live faithfully to the Lord, I know it’s worthless to God.

How much more for those who have numerous idols? With so many idols, they miss the true God, Jesus!

Many say to just respect beliefs, that everyone has their own beliefs. Yes, I respect that, but it doesn’t mean that proclaiming the truth lacks respect. Imagine if we said that to the Lord Jesus when He was opposing the false teachings of the Pharisees, "respect only, Jesus," then He wouldn’t have been crucified!

Let’s not use the "respect" card to hinder the proclamation of the truth because I am willing to die for the truth like Jesus! The Bible says there is only one way to heaven,

"I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but by me" -Jesus.

Statues, money, repeated prayers, fancy cars, rituals, etc., won’t bring you to heaven. Even kindness won’t bring you to heaven. They were kind and accommodating to me, but the truth is, even kindness or good deeds are not enough reasons for a person to go to heaven.

Many are kind and helpful people but do not remain faithful to the Lord Jesus. Jesus said,

"But the one who endures to the end will be saved" (Matthew 24:13).

Jesus is the only way and the truth! He knows if we remain faithful to Him. It’s our personal relationship with Him (Jesus). How is our faithfulness tested? Isn’t it when no one is watching?

A person's faithfulness is tested when no one is watching. That’s when their true nature comes out. This is a reminder, brothers and sisters, that God sees everything and we can hide nothing from Him.

"The Lord sees everything you do. Wherever you go, He is watching." (Proverbs 15:3).

Thieves, rapists, etc., hide in the dark where no one sees them. They missed having faith in God, so they think no one sees them!

So let us not miss the mark! In amcient hebrew they use the symbol "x" as a mark or sign.

"X" if you look closely is a cross.

To be able to "cross" from earth to heaven is only through the Lord God Jesus Christ.

So let us not miss the mark!

This idea aligns with the biblical understanding of human nature. In Genesis 8:21, after the flood, God acknowledges that "every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood." This indicates that the human heart contains both good and evil tendencies.

Jeremiah 17:9 also states, "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?" This verse highlights the natural inclination of the heart towards evil and the difficulty in discerning its true nature without divine guidance.

It's up to you to make the right choice:

The Bible emphasizes the importance of personal responsibility in making choices. Deuteronomy 30:19-20 says, "This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live." God sets before us choices and urges us to choose life and blessings by following Him.

Proverbs 4:23 instructs, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." This verse underscores the importance of guarding our hearts to ensure that our actions align with God's will.

Don't follow your heart and be deceived:

As mentioned in Jeremiah 17:9, the heart is deceitful. Therefore, following it blindly can lead to deception and sin. Proverbs 3:5-6 advises, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." This encourages us to trust in God's wisdom rather than our own potentially deceptive hearts.

Lead your heart according to God's Word:

Psalm 119:105 declares, "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." This signifies the guidance that God's Word provides. By leading our hearts according to His Word, we ensure that our actions and decisions are aligned with His will.

Additionally, Romans 12:2 exhorts believers, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." This transformation occurs through the study and application of God's Word, leading our hearts in the right direction.

In summary, while good and evil coexist in our hearts, it is our responsibility to choose righteousness. We should not be led astray by our deceitful hearts but should instead guide our hearts with the truth found in God's Word.

Pride is a silent destroyer. Often, we hesitate to admit our mistakes because of it. Pride hinders us from being generous, making life more stressful. In contrast, giving and humility bring peace and fulfillment. We must learn to swallow our pride and let the Word of God guide us. Proverbs 11:2 says, 'When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.' Likewise, James 4:6 reminds us, 'God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.' By embracing humility, we align ourselves with God's will and experience true joy and peace.
