"সরকার পরিবর্তনের পর বেনামি ঋণের মাধ্যমে অর্থ তুলে নেওয়ার প্রবণতা ঠেকানোর পদক্ষেপ নিতে শুরু করেছে বেসরকারি খাতের ইসলামী ব্যাংক। গত মঙ্গলবার এক দিনেই ব্যাংকটি ৮৮৯ কোটি টাকা উত্তোলন ঠেকিয়েছে। এসব অর্থ তুলে নেওয়ার চেষ্টা করছিল গ্লোডেন স্টার ও টপ টেন ট্রেডিং হাউস নামে দুটি প্রতিষ্ঠান। কর্মকর্তারা জানান, দুটি প্রতিষ্ঠানই ব্যাংকের মালিকপক্ষের সঙ্গে যুক্ত। এ জন্য সরকার পরিবর্তনের ফলেই তাঁরা এভাবে অর্থ তুলে নেওয়া ঠেকিয়ে দিতে পেরেছেন। ইসলামী ব্যাংক সূত্রে এ তথ্য পাওয়া গেছে।"

Is there any chance to change the existing system, is there any way to give it one more push to keep it alive??
Seeing so many emotional posts about the but is there anyway to held people accountable?
Lets cut to the point:
1. We need a total safety survey for all the existing buildings
2. We need to categorise buildings according to the safety standards
3. We need to have a plan how to improve.

Solution:
1. First We need to setup a central control unit for managing and organising.
2. Need standardised data collection system
3. Everyone has a smartphone. So collecting and sending data should be quick
4. Central control unit will be responsible for the database and analyse with expertise.
5. An automated system can generate analytics quickly from the data

Now the data collection part:
1. Multiple teams forming local people.
2. Use University Student/ School Student to collect the data as part of their academics. As a reward they should get “Credits” for the academic year. Win win situation.

Once you get all the data, give responsibility to each locality political person/“ Hedom Wala” person the power to implement the changes!

Announce a “Bangobondhu Podok” for fire safety implementation! Make them Hero, Viral the F out of them! Create a marketing campaign that encourage people to get that Podok!
Might work like a magic!

We need to provide a solution where we dont have to demolish the structure! That will be a dumbest decision and make people fall for corruption! We have to Re-strengthen the existing building with safety measure!

We need to create a safety team in every locality , provide them fire safety and earthquake response training under Fire Service!

If possible install Safety instrument boxes 📦 same as Police boxes or mixed it together. Cause there are lots of police /traffic box in the city.

Dont demolish, dont create panic, dont charge fines! That doesn’t work!! Thats just eye washing and call for corruption!!

Instead Involve people, make local people empowered, provide training and materials, provide govt funds, Give incentives, reduce local taxes for safest buildings, encourage people.

But yes: Go ask the ****** Mayors what the F is their duty!
