My 30th year was SO GOOD!
✨I followed my passions, took risks & started a new career!
✨I made SO many new friends.
✨I refound myself as an artist.
✨I went on my first solo trip out of the country.
✨I tried a lot of new things and started to put myself out there on the internet, which has taught me so many new skills and has helped me learn so much about myself.
30’s are actually really awesome & I can’t wait to come back here and write about everything I did as a 31 year old 😇💛💭🍀

not being an art teacher anymore I sometimes forget how much art excites me. or I don’t feel like much of an artist. then when I get around artistic people or I go to artistic places - I’m like ohhh wait, this is still SO my thing. so happy I stumbled upon in Fort Myers this weekend. my artist heart was full 🎨🫀💛

Today is a bittersweet day sitting in a cafe working instead of being in the classroom. Six years of teaching was such a big part of my life. But now I get to just create. I get to plan events, I get to socialize with so many local businesses, community members, and families, and I get to help some awesome charter schools grow! My screen time is way up, I have way more notifications, and I never truly have a vacation because I’m always “on” but I have to remember - this is chasing my dreams, and this is doing what makes me happy 🥹🥲

A little about me for those of you that don’t know 🙋🏼‍♀️💛
I’ve always been a creative type. I was an art teacher for six years and just now starting out in the social media management/marketing world! I’ve been a painter, but never really considered myself an artist. I actually hated the misconception that I’m supposedly this great artist because I was an art teacher. I definitely didn’t feel like painting was totally my niche (although I enjoyed it). I have always loved posting on social media (taking pictures/making videos). I was even making a lot of videos for my school - especially when the pandemic hit. And I guess I never really knew that being a digital “creator” was possibly my niche in the art world. There’s definitely still sooo much to learn and ways for me to grow, but I feel so blessed to be here. I wasn’t even asking for anything like this, but God knew exactly what was for me. 🙏🏼💛👩🏼‍💻📸🎥
