In response to the devastating fires across Los Angeles, The Walt Disney Company has been mobilizing its businesses to support the community, including by opening the doors of the company’s flagship cinema in Hollywood to host free screenings of ‘Moana 2’ and ‘Mufasa: The Lion King.’

Amid the devastating wildfires impacting the Los Angeles area, Disney Entertainment Television has invited employees, production crew, and their families who lost their homes to its wardrobe warehouse to collect new or gently used clothing and shoes from recent Disney film and TV productions at no expense.

This employee-driven effort required company-wide collaboration, with more than 80 Disney VoluntEARS spending the weekend unpacking boxes, sorting items by size and style, and preparing to welcome members of the Disney community who needed their support.

Amid the wildfires impacting the Los Angeles area, Disney Entertainment Television has invited employees to its wardrobe warehouse to collect clothing and shoes at no expense.

During the 2023 annual shareholder meeting earlier today, investors heard an update from Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger, where he talked about his vision and priorities for the company now and into the future.
