Sadly, Facebook didn’t like me using the name “Sober is Dope” as some of you might have noticed the name change. I also couldn’t be active on the page for a bit because of it. Until I change my name again, I just resorted back to my original name. Just wanted anyone wondering to know the reason. Appreciate y’all, more sobriety/IrL content otw ❤️‍🩹

This man went thru hell an back, what an amazing story! HUGE inspiration right here‼️

“I started out at a very young age about 14 years old I started smoking w**d. At the age of 18 I was a full-blown crackhead. I kept it from my fiancé and my family for two years. I’ll smoke crack for 10 years and then went on doing perk 30s I did not have a care in the world and I had 2 kids by the time i was 19. Then i the next 7 year’s i ended up having 7 more kids🤦🏻‍♂️and I was still in my darkest times in life and at my lowest point in life I would not even cared if I would’ve died. But by the age of 33 I finally got caught for all of my crime and I was looking at 32 years in prison. I ended up doing 14 months and they let me out on probation with 10 years on the shelf. I am now seven years sober and life has never been better. I am a married man, I owe for cars, my own house and I still have all of my kids”

“Meth, and pills were my drug of choice. I chose to get clean cause I was tired of letting myself down on my life/family goals. I used for 10 years before getting straight and sober. June 12th will be my 3 year sober mark from m**h. And also my youngest daughters birthday. I have been sober from pills since 2016”

“On the left I was homeless, hopeless, untrustworthy, and completely lost in a darkness I never thought I would ever make it out of. I didn't care about myself or anyone around me. I was then incarcerated and sent to The healing place in Louisville Ky. Where I found my higher power and women that loved me back to life. Today I have my own place, a great job, I'm trustworthy, My children allow me to part of their life and my granddaughters life, I love myself again. I am still a work in progress because this journey is one day at time however I'm happier than I have ever been in my life and I'm no longer stuck in a vicious cycle of destroying myself and everything around me. I love myself a lil more everyday and The light in my life is bright. I love myself today and I am proud of the woman I am becoming. Erica alcoholic sobriety date of 05-02-21. Today I make a deep and personal commitment to stay clean and sober all day long. We do recover.”
