This Development Gospel According to Dr SHERE!
..WHY Every Nsukka Politician Needs this Gospel from Opi Nsukka
I had gone with my team to consult one of the best brains in Nsukka political environment in his beautiful home at OPI Nsukka, thinking our host was also an Aspirant like me. But Dr Shere transformed my mindset as we listened to his Development Gospel.
Dr Shere smiled and explained to us why he would never prefer to be an Aspirant to being a father and mentor to the upcoming generation. This medical doctor coached us about the principle of TIME AND SEASONS in politics.
This my inlaw (you know his wife is my sister) beautifully narrated why he should not be contesting Elections with Nsukka youths. That the politicians at his level in Nsukka should now take the place of fatherinng and growing the next generation of leaders in their early 30s and 40s.
I left Dr Shere's house that night having stronger hope in the future of Nsukka.
Dr Shere clearly understands why GOVERNOR UGWUANYI is raising his boys to take over political leadership. The greatest legacy that Gburugburu is going to leave behind is that he raised young and political orphans to have political and economic voices in his time in politics. GOVERNOR UGWUANYI has also raised billionaires and uncountable Millionaires in his political ministry.
Nsukka is in need of more fathers than ASPIRANTS such a time as this. For instance, the 5th term player we are now united as never before to stop was in his early 30s when Senator Chimaroke Nnamani empowered him politically.
When will Nsukka politicians start investing in the next generation of leaders and honourably become super Stakeholders in human capital development!
We should all start thinking this direction that GOVERNOR UGWUANYI and Dr Daniel Shere have already endorsed. In every spheres of life and career, we should not forget the LAWS OF TIMES AND SEASONS.
When I grow up, I would choose to think like Gburugburu and Dr Shere in the empowerment of Nsukka youths.
