As an adult, I now understand why villains became villains. Life was hard on them and we can't blame them for the things they did. When i was a kid, I've always thought that Maleficent and Cruella Deville are mean and heartless villains. Upon knowing their backstory, I understand them now. I understand now why Maleficent gave Aurora that curse or why Cruell Deville hated dalmatians so much. They both had a painful past. They went through something THEY DIDN'T DESERVE. Although the truth of the matter is, they have control on what they will become in the future. But it won't change the fact that they were treated unfairly.

It's true when they say, you can only fully understand a person in pain if you have drowned in the same waters that have drowned them. You never know the options they had to choose.

Kudos to Disney for QUALITY MOVIES. This is what life is all about. It is deep and dark...but it is REAL. We can try shielding our kids from the worldly pain, but at the end of the day, when they grow up, they will have to learn about dealing with pain. And knowing what to do when you are only given limited options (which is true for most of us).

Cruella...such a good movie to watch. A must-see!
