The first one was 8/1/23 and the second was about a month prior. The prompt in MidJourney was the same. One of my all time favorite songs, MetallicAs Harvester of Sorrow(just the song title). I’m a fan of all of these honestly. It interpreted the song title appropriately both times.

All three of these were inspired in a very creative human way. All three of these were also inspired by AI as well. AI itself inspired me and sparked creativity I thought I had lost. It is now more alive than ever, with or without AI. These three pieces recently sold at auction for $15-$20 each. All proceeds will be donated to St Jude’s and NAMI. After a life time of doubt in my abilities, I’ve become a professional artist. One of my life long dreams finally a live and thriving!!

I’ll be taking a break from AI art and comics for a bit to focus on my oil pastels and charcoal art. There will still be comics, they’ll just be few and far between. I have recently had some of my art in an auction which is a big step for me considering how much I tear myself down. I usually everything I do is awful but I’ve come to realize that’s not really the case. Thank you for joining me on this journey. It’s all downhill from here.

A few touch ups and this cute little pup will be finished. Used a technique that I’m rather fond of. All the lighter colors go first to form the initial shape of the puppy. It gets fully colored in and blended then I proceed to add the darker colors and details as I progress. The result is less smearing and little line work to define where the ears and other features begin and end. Much more consistent.
