The Journey of Faith as i termed it clocks 3 today.
I vividly remembered this day 3yrs ago and i can say we have grown in leaps and bounds with great opportunities.

I congratulate and celebrate you our amiable Chukwuka Godwin
I have learnt from you that the strength of a leader lies in their ability to adapt, communicate effectively and motivate their team while maintaining a balance between delegation and direct involvement ensuring that each team member feels valued and supported.

As a leader of this professional body, you have focused your time on the most impactful tasks, share important information clearly and delegate responsibilities to empower your team, removing obstacles that hinder creativity, expressing gratitude, ensuring that setting achievable goals are essential.

You have inspired your team and foster a productive work environment by adapting your management style to fit different personalities, encouraging fun and providing constructive feedback.

I extend my sincere gratitude to the Executive Director of Media Career Network Sir Lekan Otufodunrin for being there for us from day 1 on this Journey, providing Mentorship and Support without holding back.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you very much
May God bless you abundantly, keep you in good health for us.
God will reward your labour of Love for us.

To our valued and esteemed partners Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism , WomenIn Business (AWIB), Foundationfor youngProfessionals ,
Thank you for your kind support 🙏❤ and encouragement.
We do not take it for granted.

Step-Up Media Network Congratulations on your 3rd Anniversary.
Let's keep pushing and be intentional.

When you are honoured by your

The bonding and the feelings were quite ecstatic on Sunday.

I have been privileged to receive prestigious awards in the past but am still awed by the recent one bestowed on me by my own professional community. It is quite significant to me because it's like a fiber to the proverbial straw .. 'Charity begins at home'

The Nigerian Union of Journalist ,NUJ on Sunday awarded me with one of its highest reputable award, the 'Special Recognition Award " .

According to NUJ, the award is giving to journalists who consistently through their works brought honour and pride to the journalism profession, in addition, contributing to greater good of the society and maintaining high level of excellence.

I am awed and deeply encouraged by this recognition .I didn't know that my little efforts were noticed even as my passion was anchored on social responsibility theory which encourages individuals to discharge their civic duties to better humanity.

I am humbled by this significant honour, the recognition will propel me to strive for fineness, excellence in all that I do and inspire me to do more remarkable works that will bring pride to our noble profession and improve the society.

I, gratefully will like to acknowledge the unwavering support of my family, especially my beloved husband and children, the Step -up community, friends, colleagues ,my mentor and the esteemed, Flagship family- The Guardian; your encouragement and support have been the pillars of my success.

Thank you all for standing by me and allowing me to pursue my passion for a better society.

Kudos to NUJ and congratulations to all the awardees.
