light and fluffy TAMAGO SANDOS were all Courtney and I could think about after we got back from our trip to Japan last year 🇯🇵 and the best part is theyre incredibly easy to make 🥚🥪

The key to a successful tamago sando is all in the bread 🍞 we used traditional Japanese shokupan (milk bread) from Mitsuwa but if you cant get shokupan, plain white bread will work

Ingredients
• 7 eggs
• 1 tbsp kewpie mayo
• 1/2 tbsp dijon mustard
• 1 scallion
• 2 slices shokupan
• salt & pepper

Steps
1. hard boil 5 of the eggs (~10 minutes) and soft boil 2 of the eggs (~7 minutes)
2. remove and place in ice bath before peeling
3. chop the hard boiled eggs and combine with mayo, mustard, scallion, salt, and pepper
4. divide egg salad between each slice of bread
5. place soft boiled eggs on 1 slice and gently close
6. wrap tightly in wax paper
7. cut down the middle and enjoy

when it comes to steak theres no such thing as undercooked but there is such a thing as overcooked shoe leather 🥩

matt was craving a beautiful ribeye for dinner last night so he whipped up a quick butter basted ribeye with garlic, rosemary, and a touch of salt. simple and perfect 🧄🌿

cook times for 1” bone-in ribeye:

𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲: 5 ½ mins per side (125°F)
𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗲: 6 ½ mins per side (130°F)
𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺: 7 ½ mins per side (140°F)
𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲: pick a different meal 👀
