Astros are headed back to the ALCS!

The Rockets were within striking distance in the 4th, but come up short 123-116 to the Nets on Friday night. James Harden had 36 points and 8 assists, but was only 10-31 from the field. He, however, was 14-15 from the line. Russell Westbrook wasn’t too far off from a triple double as he had 27 pts, 7 rebs, 8 asts, and 4 stls. Danuel House Jr. had 15 pts (3/6 from 3). PJ Tucker was 3/8 from 3 and ended up with 9 pts, 8 rebs, and 3 stls. The Rockets, as a team, were only 25% (12/48) 😳 on 3 point shots. Brooklyn out-rebounded the Rockets 55-40. Houston though had 8 fewer turnovers than Brooklyn, 20-12. They go to 3-2 on the season. The Rockets next play in Miami on Sunday night.

Astros are one game away! The road team has won every game! Are you kidding me?!? Verlander is going to get it done on Tuesday though at home! Big home runs by Yordan, Carlos, and George tonight! Cole had a MUCH better outing this time around!

Jose Urquidy was amazing tonight in his 5 innings of work, giving up only two hits and no runs, 4 Ks and no walks! Alex Bregman hits a grand slam to break the game wide open. He is the 1st third baseman in the World Series to get 5 RBIs in a game. Robinson Chirinos hits a homer to left in back to back games. He’s the first catcher to do this since 1982! So, Bregman and Brantley each go 3 for 5. Altuve and Chirinos each go 2 for 5. Marisnick 2 for 4. Also for the first time, a World Series game is started with four consecutive singles by the Astros! And, for the first time since 1996, the road team wins the first four games! This guarantees that we will get at least one more game in Houston!

Astros get the huge win in Game 3, 4-1! Back at it Saturday with Jose Urquidy on the mound in a bullpen game. Let’s get at least one more in Washington to send it back home!

Yeesssssss!!!!!! Astros are going to the World Series! Altuve is unbelievable!!!

The Astros need one more win to get back to the World Series! They showed the Yankees who’s boss tonight with the 8-3 victory!

Astros get it done in the Bronx with a 4-1 Game 3 victory! We’re up 2-1 in the series. Guaranteed to have another game in Houston, whether it be in the ALCS if we happen to lose one in NY or the start of the World Series!

Astros win!!! Get one (at least) in the Bronx!

Texans win it in KC 31-24 to go to 4-2 on the season. Watson throws for 280 yds and a TD, as well as 42 yds on the ground with 2 scores. Carlos Hyde had 116 yds rushing and a TD. Duke Johnson had the receiving TD at the beginning. Hopkins had 9 catches for 55 yds and the big 2 pt conversion from Watson. Also, no sacks for KC! What to do about Fairbairn? Another missed XP attempt and FG attempt.

Astros moving on to face the Yankees in the ALCS after defeating the Rays 6-1! Another awesome performance by Gerrit Cole and company.

Astros win 6-2!!! Verlander had an amazing performance as he goes 7 strong innings, allowing only one hit and striking out 8! They go up 1-0 in the series and send out Gerrit Cole tomorrow night. JOIN our group!
