What better woman to start off this segment than THE Issa Rae! If you haven't already watched Insecure, I really dk what you're waiting on chile. Issa Rae is an actress, writer, and producer who began her career in film by starting a YouTube series called "Awkward Black Girl". However, Issa is most well known for her show "Insecure". In Insecure, Issa explores topics of friendship, sexuality, racial biases, and a host of other topics that nearly every black woman can relate to. Issa's care-free spirit and growth is evident throughout the show! Issa's vulnerability is admirable & surely is what makes her the successful woman that she is today!

Hey y'all! I'm Shy - the one who's advice might make you scream, laugh, or cry!

I am a 21 year old health informatics student at USC Upstate from the little ole town of St. Matthews, SC. I've always been the friend who is going to tell you how it is - would you rather me tell you or the people in the street? Yeah, that's me! I care deeply for my friends and family & that's why I value telling the truth! In my free time I enjoy watching TV shows (chile, Euphoria rn tho!), listening to music, and learning about how to become an overall better woman. Hey y'all! I'm briG - and every new episode helps both you and me!

I'm a 21 year old biology student at USC Upstate, just trying to figure this life thing out. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and scrolling through tik tok (iykyk!). Communicating my ideas and perspectives on life is something that I've always been passionate about & I have watched myself grow and learn along the way.
