Nine private college institutions in General Santos City participated in this year's PRISAA meet, showcasing their competitive spirit and camaraderie. The event symbolized unity towards achieving a common goal: strengthening connections as one entity.

The crowd went wild as the Prisaayawan Hip-hop Competition ignited the dance floor at Lagao Gymnasium, General Santos City. The final results were as follows: Cronasia Foundation College placed 2nd runner-up, followed by Notre Dame of Dadiangas University as 1st runner-up, and Holy Trinity College emerged as this year's Prisaayawan Hip-hop Competition Champion.

Students, faculty, and staff from each participating school filled the entire gymnasium with colorful balloons and party horns to show support for their respective Ginoo and Mutya ng PRISAA 2023 participants. RMMC Pop Idols and Teatro Ambahanon also entertained the crowd.

Francis Bangcaya and Jhara Salcedo represented Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges in the Ginoong PRISAA and Mutya ng PRISAA competitions on stage.

Francis Piolo Bangcaya, a student from the CAS department, was crowned Ginoong PRISAA 2023, while the Mutya ng PRISAA 2023 is from Notre Dame of Dadiangas University.

The highlight of the event was the announcement of the PRISAA MEET 2023 overall champion, none other than Holy Trinity College of General Santos City, marking this year as their 17th consecutive championship. Additionally, the torch of responsibility was passed from this year's host school, Ramon Magsaysay Memorial College, to the upcoming host school, Mindanao Polytechnic College.

PRISAA MEET GenSan 2023 Kicks Off | Yrah

Embracing camaraderie, building friendships, and promoting good sportsmanship, socio-cultural and academic participants, and student athletes from nine colleges and universities in General Santos City gathered at The Word for Everyone Ministries in Barangay City Heights on February 25, 2023 for the opening of the annual Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) Meet.

Participants from their respective schools lined up for the opening parade, with Brokenshire College SOCSKSARGEN Inc. being the first to be introduced amidst enthusiastic cheers from the crowd and a lively dance performance. They were followed by Cronasia Foundation College, Gensantos Foundation College, Inc., Mindanao Polytechnic College, STI College of General Santos, Stratford International School, and Notre Dame of Dadiangas University.

The crowd went wild as Holy Trinity College, the overall champion of PRISAA Meet 2022 and the defending overall champion for 16 consecutive years, made its entrance, followed by Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, the host school of PRISAA MEET GenSan 2023.

Ms. Aileen Grace T. Montejo, MA, GenSan PRISAA President, and SSO Director of RMMC, said, "It is a privilege for us to host today's event, and we are proud to provide a safe and secure platform for our students to showcase their abilities and participate in an exciting and competitive atmosphere."

This year's PRISAA Meet national theme is "Sports excellence among the Filipino under the new normal," and Mr. Johann Sebastian Millado, MBA, RMMC's Executive Assistant for Admin and Finance, acknowledged the passion and commitment of student athletes for sports, also giving them a warm welcome message on behalf of the whole RMMC.

Despite being overseas, Dr. Kristoffer Franz Mari R. Millado, Ed.D, RMMC's President, managed to send a short message to officially open the PRISAA Meet GenSan 2023, which was then a cue for students and coaches to take their oaths with devotion and sincerity.

The oath-taking was then followed by dance and musical performances, keeping the crowd entertained and allowing them to enjoy the rest of the event.

RMMC was victorious in two socio-cultural competitions: Vocal Duet and Chorale.
