WHY DON'T MINISTERS WRITE IN PROGRAMS?

Dear Minister of God, the anointed and most graced of God. I have a question for you.

My simple question is, WHY DO YOU THINK IT'S NOT NECESSARY TO WRITE/RECORD MESSAGES WHEN YOU ATTEND PROGRAMS?

Do you think you're better than other Christians who attend the same program or that you may not need the message afterwards? Perhaps you even know how to deliver better than most Ministers who came to preach at the program...🤷‍♂️

Can I tell you this, you're missing a lot. Remember you have to be a Christian to remain His Minister.

You also need to know that; regardless of how powerful and anointed a message is, a huge & reasonable part of the message will have no impact on you if it's not reflected, reviewed and meditated upon. And this is not excluding Ministers including the preacher of the message.

This is one of the reasons why the churches whose members grow spiritually (especially in Word) are those churches whose members feed on the tapes and books from their church.

P.S: This little write-up is inspired while listening to the audio record I made at the just concluded Retreat. It was as though I didn't attend the program myself, very fresh again !!

Please don't joke with God's Word.

Shalom!

YOUNG & VIBRANT 2023

It is with every sense of humility and responsibility, I am inviting everyone to Young & Vibrant 2023. May our labour (of love) never be in vain in Jesus name.

Observing the wisdom of God at work in the life of king Solomon; the man who built the house for the Lord for seven (7) solid years. Nevertheless, when it came to building his own house, it took him thirteen (13) solid years (that is almost double of what it took him to build for God) and God was never jealous over that.

So, I wondered "what could be the wisdom behind this?"

I realized that for a man who will last on "his throne" in life, whatever he may be engaged in (in the name, and for the Lord) as his ministry/career, even though it should come FIRST like Solomon did, such man must be ready to spend and expend DOUBLE of; time, resources, dedication, concentration, consecration etcetera TO BUILDING HIS OWN PLACE OF REST–his house. The house here symbolizes a home/family. This is very crucial for a man who desires to have AN ALL-ROUND REST IN "HIS KINGDOM" LIKE KING SOLOMON (1 Kings 5:4).

This kind of Wisdom, and lots more Blessings are what we shall all be trusting the Lord to equip our lives with (for the years ahead) as we gather to worship/praise Him at YOUNG & VIBRANT 2023.

Looking forward to seeing you.

Till then, stay blessed.

One of the things I cherished most is RELATIONSHIP.
I don't joke with it. I value it so much that most times I sacrifice for it.

You know why? I realized that one day, you'll come to understand that your most worthy investment on Earth is not in material things, but in how well you've treated others.

DON'T REMAIN AN ECHO, GROW TO BECOME A VOICE.
(A token of advice to fellow Young Ministers)

2 Chronicles 34:1-3 NASB

[1] Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem.

[2] He did right in the sight of the Lord, AND WALKED IN THE WAYS OF HIS FATHER DAVID AND DID NOT TURN ASIDE TO THE RIGHT OR TO THE LEFT.

[3] For in the eighth year of his reign WHILE HE WAS STILL A YOUTH, HE BEGAN TO SEEK THE GOD of his father David; and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, the Asherim, the carved images and the molten images.

Even though it is a norm for every child (young Ministers in this case) to follow after fathers– walk and talk like them, quote them verbatim, do what they do, and even pattern life, marriage and ministry after them "without checking" like Josiah also did when he was still a child, there must be a time when you're expected to grow up and pursue, seek after, and follow after THE GOD of all (and of those fathers) Himself.

From what I found in the scriptures, that is not only a sign of growth, but a beginning of your life and ministry.

Many of what I see these days are young men who just go about echoing what these great men have said rather than speaking for Yahweh Himself. And as God is wondering; "who will be my voice in this new generation", fathers are also worried; "what new thing will the ones coming after us do, hope they won't repeat our mistakes?"

From what I've learnt so far, there's no perfect preacher or minister of the Gospel no matter how eloquent or anointed he is. Infact, a notable Minister of God said, "there's no how you'll check a one-year sermon of every preacher and you won't find one thing needed to be corrected."

So, why do you think you must echo everything someone said rather than settling down to receive that rhema yourself?

Let me pause here for now. Till next time.

PROVERBS 31:3-6
"Do not give your strength to women,
Nor your ways to that which destroys kings.

It is not for kings, O Lemuel,
It is not for kings to drink wine,
Nor for princes intoxicating drink;

Lest they drink and forget the law,
And pervert the justice of all the afflicted.

Give strong drink to him who is perishing,
And wine to those who are bitter of heart."

There are things others can do, but the KING in me won't permit me to doing it.

I am not among those that are perishing. I am a living a reigning king. I can't just do anything, neither can I do anyhow.

If you are a king, there are codes and conducts that must guide the way you live your life.

HANDLING THE PRESSURES IN LEADERSHIP
(Moses; A case study)

PT. 1. His Leadership/Good Intention was rejected.

Exodus 2: 11-14 NIV.
11. One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people.

12. Looking this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.

13. The next day he went out and saw two Hebrews fighting. He asked the one in the wrong, “Why are you hitting your fellow Hebrew?”

14. The man said, “WHO MADE YOU RULER and JUDGE OVER US? Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid and thought, “What I did must have become known.”

As a leader, there are times when you have good intentions for people, you felt God will have you HELP people OUT but the same people you want to help are the ones going against you as though saying; "we never told you to help us in the first place." Or an individual even saying it to your face; "I don't need your help." Not because such people aren't in need of help but for some reasons best known to them, they don't want you.

AT THAT POINT, YOU NEED TO WITHDRAW A BIT;

maybe there's something you're getting wrongly, your approach to rendering the help might also be wrong, or you might need to wait a while till such people get to the peak of their needs. At such point, they might be the one to come for your help themselves or send someone to you.

Helping people is good, but you can't do it ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, nor ANYHOW. Learning how to do it appropriately will give credence to your leadership.

Will still come on Moses again in no long time from now, STAY TUNED!

It comprises of an excerpt from an explorative study done on "SEED TIME AND HARVEST TIME."

I was humbled when the wife of one of my Lecturers (back in school days) who was present in one of the series came back asking my wife "please how can I have the full series?"

One day I looked at my Facebook (public figure) page and it was reported that the larger percentage of those who liked it are women. It even include their age bracket and since then I LOVE WOMEN MORE.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!!!

In the second edition of THE ACTORS MAGAZINE, I wrote two articles which were inspired from the lives of some women in the Bible.

The first was titled:
LETTERS FROM NAOMI; AN ADVICE TO MOTHERS INLAW

And the second:
THE WOMB MINISTRY
