Congratulations to Jay-Z on being presented the Dr. Dre Global Impact award for his involvement in the evolution and acceptability of hip-hop music and culture in the world today.
During his speech, he thanked Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg for thier involvement and individual impacts and then the shade was thrown.
"Not everybody's gonna win tonight; some people might feel like they were robbed, some of you will get robbed....some of your shouldn't be in the category!"

"How do you win the most Grammys but not have a number one album?"
That was on reference to Taylor Swift as she won the Grammy for the Best Pop Vocal album and brought to light that it would be her 13th album.

It was also a bit of shade from the 2003 Grammys when Kanye West made Taylor oh so very famous! Look it up if you don't know the reference.

The truth hurts, even 21 years later!

Jam Master Jay
Hip-hop history was rocked by the murder of Jam Master Jay in 2002. Now, federal prosecutors have charged a third suspect in the case. Jay Bryant, 49, is accused of being involved in the shooting of the hip-hop pioneer, who was an integral member of the iconic group Run-DMC. Ronald Washington and Karl Jordan Jr. were previously indicted for the crime, with officials suggesting a drug dispute as the motive. Bryant was spotted with the two men on the night of the murder, and his DNA was allegedly found at the scene. Run-DMC is credited with revolutionizing hip-hop, introducing an aggressive style with iconic beats and fashion. Their self-titled debut was truly groundbreaking, becoming the first hip-hop album to reach gold status.
