The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has finished a road concreting initiative in the agricultural area of Barangay Kamuning, located in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, which enhances the transportation of farmers' goods to the market.

This farm-to-market road project spans 0.8415 kilometers and has a width of 9.10 meters, incorporating earthworks, subbase and base course, surface course, drainage and slope protection features, along with other miscellaneous structures.

"The road project enhances the community’s agricultural productivity and social connectivity by ensuring the timely delivery of fresh and high-quality produce to the market sourced directly from farmers. Ang pambansang gobyerno at mga lokal na pamahalaan ay nakapagbigay ng kabuuang P198 milyon na tulong sa mga pamilyang naapektuhan ng patuloy na aktibidad ng Bulkang Kanlaon, ayon sa ulat ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) noong Biyernes.
Ayon sa pinakabagong ulat ng NDRRMC, ang halagang ito ay nahati sa P127.3 milyon para sa Central Visayas at P70.7 milyon para sa Western Visayas.
Aabot sa 10,053 na pamilya mula sa dalawang rehiyon ang nakinabang mula sa tulong na ito – 7,552 pamilya sa Western Visayas at 2,501 pamilya sa Central Visayas.
Kabilang sa mga tulong na ipinamigay ang family food packs, hygiene at sleeping kits, financial assistance, pati na rin ang mga filtration at generator sets.
Sa kabuuan, 12,286 pamilya mula sa 27 barangay sa dalawang rehiyon ang apektado ng kalamidad.
Hanggang sa kasalukuyan, 3,107 pamilya ang nakatigil sa 23 evacuation centers, habang 2,662 pamilya naman ang tinutulungan sa labas ng mga
evacuation center.
