Understanding Website Security, and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Certificates. SSL Certificates are there to keep the website secure, what’s the difference between a Fee SSL Certificate & Paid Version SSL Certificate, please follow along. Many websites out there now on the big bad boy Web, are using what’s called R3 SSL Certificates, We’d recommend not to enter any of your data or details Into them websites, such as Payment Cards, Credit / Debit Cards, PayPal Information, as of R3 SSL Certificates do not offer any Insurance to websites, they may look secure. They are not secure. Let’s look at Shopify for this example, see the Image displayed below!
Websites like that, are just looking for the easy way out, so If anything had happened to you’re PayPal Data, Credit / Debit Card Data, etc, there Is no Insurance. So If that company was to enter a Lawsuit, or anything, they would be In trouble, as they would be asked to prove any Insurances, or such kind from there Secure Socket Layer Supplier.
Why, we’re reporting on this, Because this has happened to myself before, I have had my Identity Stolen, etc, and I don’t want the same thing happening to you either, remember you can look at the websites SSL Certificate at any given time on a Laptop or Personal Computer, you cannot review this on you’re phone.
