Wearing face mask no longer mandatory

His Excellency the Prime minister has today addressed media houses regarding Covid 19 regulations adjustments. With immediate effect, the Premier has announced that wearing face masks in open space is no longer a must, people will only be expected to wear a mask in shops, malls and in gatherings.
Also, football spectators will now go freely to studiums without any restrictions, that's a relief to entertainment industry as now they will have more people in attendance.

Night vigils are now allowed, people will now hold night vigils when hurrying their loved ones and in churches.

Major V case postponed to 25 August

The founder of Mountain of Salvation church, Prophet Major V, who stand accused of stealing 900k from Eswatini Building Society, appeared today before Mbabane Magistrate Court. He is currently out in bail.
The case is expected to continue on the 25th of August this year at the High Court.

Should we expect the incarcerated MPs to be released soon?

This is a question on everybody's mind after the statement of Judge Annadale. Today the two MPs appeared before the supreme court for their bail application, after their submission, Judge Jacobus Annadale said swazis must pray for them to make a fair judgement.
This statement gives a little bit of hope, but let's hold our horses and wait for the judgement to come soon.

Unknown assailants has torched police car at Malangwane.
While Police were busy controlling traffic at Malangwane, unknown assailants took an advantage to burn a police car, the car that was used by Officer Gule, was parked nearby while officers were busy helping motorists.

The founder of Mountain of Salvation passed his words of condolences to the family of the late Prophet GR.
The controversial Prophet then shocked journalist when he said "umuntfu loneluchuku usheshe afe" when asked to elaborate on that, he said," ngisho loko nje msakati, natsi sitamladzela ngoba tinsuku temuntfu tatiwa nguNkulunkulu".
