God said in Isaiah, “Even to your old age, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you.” You never get too old for God to carry you. As much as you love carrying your small children, holding them, protecting them, making sure they feel safe and secure, Your Heavenly Father loves carrying you. When you’re tempted to worry, feel overwhelmed, “Father, I don’t think I can make it through this sickness. How can I make it through this suffering? These people at work are not fair.” Instead of worrying, just say, “God, I thank You for carrying me. I don’t see a way, but I know You control the universe. You’re my provider, my protector, my deliverer, my way maker.” The fact is God is carrying you right now, but if you don’t recognize it, you’ll live stressed out, upset. No, you’re in your Father’s arms. He’s holding you tightly. Nothing can sn**ch you away.

That gentle whisper may be telling you to forgive, let go of that hurt, quit holding that grudge. That’s uncomfortable. Your mind will say, “No way; they hurt me too badly.” You get to choose. Which voice are you going to obey? The loud, forceful, don’t change, take the easy way out voice? No, let the gentle whisper be the voice that you follow. It may be uncomfortable, but God knows what He’s doing. When you’re sensitive to the still small voice, when you’re in tune with what you’re feeling in your spirit, not just living by your intellect, but listening to the promptings, the impressions, then you’re going down the best path for your life.

You may feel stuck in your career, like you can’t get ahead, but I declare you’re about to step into opportunity that you’ve never imagined. You’re going to discover things in you that you didn’t know you had: gifts, talents, books, songs, movies, ideas, inventions, businesses. Now, do your part; tune out all the negative voices. What God has declared, no person can stop, no bad break, no disappointment. The blessing overrides the curse.
