Umair Razzaq

I am Umair Razzaq from Lyari Karachi. I have completed my BS degree in English Literature from Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari in May 2018. I am known as the citizen journalist in the vicinity of Lyari. I have also authored a book entitled “Lyari on the Rise” which was launched at the Benazir Bhutto university auditorium in March 2018. The book is the collection of my articles and features which have continuously been publishing in English weekly ‘Social Track’. I have started writing professionally when Lyari commenced establishing peace in the vicinity. The book comprises chapters/topics related to positive aspects of the society and the youth activists/filmmakers/artists and other creative field.

I have hosted a TV show in Balochi Language from the platform of VSH News Channel. I have also produced and hosted a web show on YouTube namely “Haalhawal with Umair Razzaq”. A part from these formal platforms, I have moderated many talks, written numerous blogs on education, social and civic forte, and Youth empowerment.
