A big dark room with high ceilings and metal constructions on the sides. In the dim ambient light going from nowhere and everywhere at the same time you can see the people's silhouettes looking for their seats, whispering and chatting.
You are already sitting at your designated spot, waiting in the noisy yet peacefully calm hall. Echoes of this place escalate every little whisper into not distinctive rustle.
Suddenly even the mild light ambience goes off, leaving all of you for a few seconds in a complete darkness. After a while, the big front reflectors go on, fully illuminating the stage. The show is about to begin.
The name is "The NFT Yearbook Show", and it's not just yet another show about NFTs. It's an experience.
Here, you can rely on having fun. Every episode has a special new guest, somebody chosen by those before him. It's self-curated, ever evolving little organism reflecting the whole space, the world we all live in.

Social media has made us all so accustomed to following each other, following our idols and icons, and accepting “truth” from people that we admire. What we don’t tend to realize is that so much of the information we receive from others is merely conjecture, and not necessarily facts. It’s human nature to want to be a beacon of knowledge, because it makes us feel powerful, regardless if we convey facts or not. This has historically been the case with politicians, however, with the advent of social media, anyone can have a platform. I always think of the phrase my dad told me, “If your friend jumped off a bridge, would you do it? Probably not, but if thousands of people were doing it for the prospect of financial freedom, I might be persuaded. Social media’s bizarre power of mass-persuasion is the underlying narrative of this piece.

Sound is a must when viewing this piece. “Pigeon Precision” is intended to poke fun at the oversaturation of the NFT art market, and many other topics related to NFTs including speculation, volatility, scammers, and cash-grabs. To me, this piece reflects the current state of early NFT culture, as the market and community is very much still maturing and developing. The NFT scene can be a bit chaotic and stressful, but it’s so fascinating and fun to be on the forefront of emerging technology and the new epoch of art. Cruel Summer
Growing up, my mom listened to a ton of New Wave bands, including Bananarama. I particularly loved their song "Cruel Summer", which always reminds me of those hot days by the lakefront in Chicago when I was a kid. You know, those days that feel like you're going to melt and stick to the pavement, but you get a cold drink and some shade and everything's rad? I live in NYC now, and I originally made this piece in the dead of winter 2019. I wanted to re-live those hot summer days, hanging out by the water with my friends without a care in the world. Winter is long and cold, but watching this piece makes me look forward to summer time, and I hope you feel the same.

Puzzled
"Puzzled" is an obscure reflection of the current times. With the uncertainty of a global pandemic, civil unrest, and financial instability, it seems the earth is a strange sticky puzzle. I attempted to express these ideas and concerns in a simple 10-second piece, but also make it something visually-attractive to watch. The visual is something hard to look away from, and so are the issues that influenced it.

When it comes to dealing with stress and anxiety, sometimes it feels as if courage and mental-fortitude is a thin film of fragile glass, protecting you from being crushed. This piece is a reflection of what it feels to deal with stress and anxiety in a perpetual cycle. However, I've found this cycle can be easily broken by performing meaningful activities that confront it directly. Things like maintaining proper diet, exercise, and making art all help disrupt this cycle of torment.
