I was searching a long time to find a doom metal producer for my own band (Ocean of Grief) in order to have a deep/ambient but punchy sound but never managed to find one that was able to capture these characteristics and wouldn't cost a kidney. As a result, I decided to start producing on my own (like many other musicians) but focused almost exclusively on doom/death metal sound that led to working with bands of the genre that were also seeking for a similar sound. So, other than mixing/mastering, re-amping services, sampling midi drum files and of course synth-keyboard production by using quality libraries (Spitfire, Hollywood Strings, Omnisphere, Nexus etc) that are being offered, consulting in songwriting and in band develepoment (like signining to a label and promoting the music among the scene) is also being offered as I was the prime songwriter for most of the bands I participated (with the most notable being Ocean of Grief and On Thorns I Lay).
