January is Maternal Health Awareness Month.

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." - John 15:13

While Christ gave His life to save ours, we can reflect His love in our lives by giving the gift of life to others. Blood donation is a simple yet powerful way to show care, compassion, and love to those in need.

Be the reason someone sees tomorrow.
Find a blood drive near you and give the gift of life this month.

January is National Blood Donor Month.

While Christ gave His life to save ours, we can reflect His love in our lives by giving the gift of life to others. Blood donation is a simple yet powerful way to show care, compassion, and love to those in need.

I personally received 102 units of blood and blood products during my . I wouldn't be here if many selfless people didn't spare their time and donate.

Be the reason someone sees tomorrow.
Find a blood drive near you and give the gift of life this month.

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." John 15:13

October is Dysautonomia Awareness Month.

“Dysautonomia” is the general term for disorders that disrupt your autonomic nervous system (ANS). It can describe several disorders with a wide range of symptoms. Some common symptoms are, although this is not a comprehensive list:

Balance problems.
Fainting or passing out (especially when standing up).
“Brain fog,” forgetfulness, or trouble focusing.
Fast heart rate (tachycardia) or slow heart rate (bradycardia).
Pinpoint eye pupils or unusually wide eye pupils.
Dry or watery eyes
Swing in body or skin temperature
Vision problems
Chest pain
Shortness of breath
Trouble swallowing
Mood swings
Migraines

I developed POTS, a type of Dysautonomia, after my coma in 2019. I have experienced all of the above, but thankfully not on a daily basis (like some). An interesting fact is astronauts commonly develop dysautonomia after going into space because there is no gravity in space.
