This is so fu***ng true that it hurts. As a kid I LOVED the Adam West Batman and even loved “Batman: The Animated Series” but now, as an adult, Joker is one of the few DC characters I actually like (and, hot take: I LOVED Jared Leto’s take on The Joker in the original “Suicide Squad” movie. I just wish he had more screen time. I even have a professional fan art painting of him that my partner bought for me as a gift. Jared’s Joker in the music video for “Purple Lamborghini”, though? ROWR!). I love all the iterations of him from Cesar Romero, Mark Hamill’s voicing of him, Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger, Jared Leto, on and on and so forth. There have been actors who have played Batman who I’ve enjoyed but not at all as much as I love the actors who’ve played The Joker. He’s just the best villain EVER. *chefs kiss*

Please pray or send some good vibes/energy my partner’s () way. He goes into surgery on his neck and right wrist tomorrow. It’s going to be a 5 hour long surgery. I’m scared s**tless, but then I’m always scared s**tless when he has surgery. I’ll keep y’all posted as things develop.

So excited! My partner isn’t able to go with me to see Ghost in Dallas because he’s having surgery and can’t drive for 6 weeks. However a great friend of mine is going with me! She’s going to drive us. It’ll be her first ritual! I had her listen to some highlights of Ghost’s music so she would know what she is getting into. 😂😂😂 She LOVES them now! Can’t wait to go with her! We’re gonna have some fun!

My attempt at “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Let me essplain a thing…Seeing Ed Sheeran live was one of the best concert experiences of my life. He played alone with just a guitar and some loop pedals. He did pretty much every song he’s ever recorded (not just the stuff from his latest album at the time) and some covers, too. He probably played for at LEAST two hours but he was so amazing I wished he’d play a couple of hours more! His opening act, Jamie Lawson is a treasure, too. It was a great night, overall, despite Christina Perri and her caterwauling. If you get the chance to see him love DO IT! He does not disappoint.

Couldn’t convince the partner to watch a horror movie with me, so I’m watching one by myself. 😂 So, preliminary thoughts? Shari Moon Zombie is a GEM. Hot take, but I’m actually glad Rob Zombie casts her in all of his films. As Baby Firefly, though, she REALLY shines. Oh, and Otis B. Driftwood and faces, man. *makes sure her face is still attached to her skull* Ouchy.

So, got the paperwork in for my big trip to Phoenix to see my future alma mater. I’m so ridiculously excited! I LOVE to fly. I’m weird, I know, but I love flying. Hate the TSA, but once I’m on the plane, I’m in pure rapture. I also haven’t flown since my 150 pound weight loss, so I’m curious to see if I fit any better in an airplane seat, or if I’ll need a seatbelt extender. I might still need one, but who knows? It’s just a day trip but I’m looking forward to seeing the campus and maybe getting some swag. So, yeah, that’s what’s going on in my world.

My partner is learning how to brew beer in a certificate program online. The video he’s watching for class talks about “sparge water” and “wort”. Sounds like some Harry Potter potions class s**t to me. “To make the sparge water we add three sprinkles of wort. Add four and get a nasty surprise!”

So, just got a call from Grand Canyon University…so, what had happened was, I was going to study screenwriting at this one University, because you get a MacBook Pro and free software you need for screenwriting. GCU does not offer that. BUT BUT BUT…They’re gonna fly me out ON THEIR COIN to Phoenix (where I’ve never been before, so I’m HELLA excited) and I’m going to tour the campus, because they treat their online students just like their on-campus students! I will even be able to attend an actual graduation and get my degree in-person! My high school graduation was a s**t show (I’ll tell y’all that story another day) so I always wanted to have a redo at my college graduation but thought that was a moot point being an online student, but I get a legit graduation! I might’ve found my school, Glittercorns! Whee!!!

So, my partner () just told me he was really into My Chemical Romance. I freaking LOVE My Chemical Romance! But my partner was the last person on Earth I’d ever imagine would like MCR. He’s not exactly “emo” (I know, MCR’s NOT emo, they just do songs that…sound emo…). He told me he listens to them all the time in the car. Is this the person I’ve spent nearly10 years of my life with? It’s like I don’t know anymore, man. But, for seriously, after being together that long, he can still surprise me in the best ways.

Okay, confession/TMI time! So, here’s the rub: I HATE handling feet. I could never be a podiatrist or give pedicures because touching feet grosses me out. ON THE OTHER HAND, THO…I LOVE a pair of nice looking feet. I think someone performing music onstage with no shoes is sexy, walking along a sandy beach, whatever. As long as I can see the feet and I don’t have to touch them, I’m attracted to them. Then I think feet are HOT. I have no clue why, I just love the look of really nice feet. Would I be one of those Puritans who’d get turned on by a flash of ankle? I dunno, you tell me, FREUD! Why am I the way that I am? Is it my daddy issues? You figure it out, because it’s beyond my purview. And, NO, I don’t hit people up for feet pics. My name isn’t Dan Schneider and this ISN’T Nickelodeon. I’m just a freak, I’ve come to accept it. 😂😂😂

Home at last!!! Gotta stay off my foot until it heals, which sucks big ol’ donkey balls, but the good news is that I’m actually healing, which is difficult with having so little blood circulation in my feets, but it’s doing its thing and getting better by the day. Thank you so much to all of you who showed me love and support. I’m on the mend, and I’m just ridiculously happy that my foot boo-boo isn’t all that bad at all. The ER doc who told me that my bone was fu***ng infected and rotting is an idiot and a tool. They MRI’d my foot and it was fu***ng fine. So, I just need some R&R and it’ll be all good. to all y’all precious !
