Hello all 💜 This is the first time I've logged in since May 26th. I had to take a mental health break. It's coming up on the one year anniversary of my son's passing, and I needed some time to gather my thoughts and reevaluate life in general. Life after losing my son and husband in such a short timeframe has been tough. I felt like I was hiding behind Facebook in order to hide from my grieving process. I was trying to find something to fill the void and make me feel like I had purpose. Facebook wasn't the answer. I was avoiding what my mind and body truly needed...which was to actually go through it...the good and the bad. So that's what I've done for the last few weeks....and now I'm ready to come back and hopefully be a better friend and supporter all around. 💜 I've missed you all...and I appreciate those of you who continued to support me in my absence. You guys are the real MPVs. 💯

The last day of school is always bittersweet. On one hand, I don't have to be up with the chickens for two months 🤣 But on the other hand, I will now have an eighth grader and a junior in high school. They grow up WAYYYY to fast. 🥺 Don't blink guys....
