On January 29, 2023 at 3:16a Nueces County Constable Pct 3, Nueces County Sheriff Office Deputies along with ESD 3 personnel were dispatched to a single vehicle roll over located on FM 70 near CR 63A.

The passenger vehicle with one person driving, was traveling west bound on FM 70 when he lost control resulting in the vehicle rolling over into the field. The driver refused medical attention, no injuries were reported.

Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers are investigating the accident, the male driver was arrested for suspected driving while intoxicated.

The Robstown Police Department and Jackson County District Attorney’s Office is asking for assistance with anyone having the information on the whereabouts of 48 year old Ruben Garza Jr. Ruben has active arrest warrants out of Jackson County for over 30 counts of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child and other sexual abuse crimes.

CITY’S LATEST HOMICIDE

At approximately 8:28 am on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, officers were dispatched to the 6000 block of Ayers Street reference a shooting.

When officers arrived, they located an adult male who had been shot. Responding officers administered life savings measures on scene until medic units arrived, at which point the male was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Through their investigation, Homicide Detectives and Officers followed up on several leads, which allowed them to identify and locate the whereabouts of the suspect.

At approximately 11:37 am, Officers took the suspect into custody.

The suspect will be transported to the main police station to be interviewed, before being transported to the City Detention Center for processing. His identity will be released after he is processed.

Missouri City Officer Crystal Sepulveda was shot in the face and foot by a armed carjacking suspect this morning. She will survive her injuries.

“She’s a strong officer and she will make it,” said Missouri City Assistant Chief Lance Bothell.

The suspect is dead.

According to HPD Chief Troy Finner, officers with Missouri City PD spotted a vehicle taken by an aggravated robber in north Harris County on Friday at a gas station at the corner of Fondren Road and Main Street in southwest Houston.

On 7/23/22 at 12:40 am a Nueces County Constable Pct 3 Deputy, assigned to Nueces County District Attorney Criminal Interdiction Unit, conducted a traffic stop on a Ford F-150 for a moving violation on US Highway 77 north of Driscoll, Texas.
While on the stop it was determined the passengers in the cab were undocumented immigrants. Several more undocumented immigrants were concealed and located in the bed of the vehicle under a bedcover.
A total of 12 undocumented immigrants were recovered and transferred to US Border Patrol agents. During the stop two subjects evaded officers and are currently at large. We are asking the public to report any suspicious activity that may be related.
The driver was arrested for smuggling of persons, which has a possible penalty of 2 to 10 years incarceration and a fine of up to $10,000.
Nueces County Constable PCT3 would like to thank the Bishop Police Department and the US Border Patrol for their assistance.

ARREST MADE IN 2012 FATAL HIT AND RUN

On Saturday March 11, 2012, at 11:39 pm Corpus Christi Police officers responded to a major crash hit and run at the 7500 block of McArdle. The officers located 24-year-old Kimberly Encinia on the side of the roadway suffering from severe injuries. Kimberly was transported to a local hospital where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries.

Detectives with the Traffic Section Follow-Up responded to the scene and took over the investigation from the first responding patrol officers. Over the months that followed, the detectives were unable to determine the identity of the suspect and the case went cold.

On July 12, 2022, the Traffic Section received information on a possible suspect in the 2012 fatal hit and run crash. The detectives were able to conduct additional interviews and presented this information to the Nueces County District Attorney’s Office to secure an arrest warrant. 45-year-old Michael Atkinson was served the warrant for Accident-Causing Death or Bodily Injury ($250,000.00 bond) while he was incarcerated at the Nueces County Jail on unrelated charges.

Update reference to the dogs in the kennel, dogs are still in there. 7200 Kress it’s been a total 5 days now and they come out only so the owner can clean the kennel which is only 4-6 mins in 24 hr period. Looks like they added an umbrella but that is not going to stop the heat. Let’s see what happens next.
