November 2021, I started hosting online permaculture courses for 1/3 the price of an average permaculture course. One of my students was from Kenya, another from California, and another from the North East of America. These people needed to learn strategies to keep their land fertile and producing. Sister Nyakio actually runs a women’s shelter in Naivasha Kenya where she teaches these women agroforestry farming techniques, helps them raise their children, keep them fed, while doing speaking engagements with my tropical Permaculture teacher Papa Kagwe James. My student Andre Torres, Now good and close friend, was looking for deeper meaning in his life the same as I was when I was taking my first permaculture course. And finally Myriesha came through with all the best intentions to learn. I needed to help them with a scholarship because they didnt’ have the funds to fund their own education out of pocket. So i asked the community to donate funds for their tuition. And the community came through, helped, and delivered. I just want to thank you all so much for your continued support in helping indigenous farmers reclaim their knowledge and their autonomy in living in harmony and abundance on their land. Thank you!
