The DSR crew has been running wild for the last 3 years, so maybe it's time to shake things up a bit. Cody and Tyler have a fire burnin, much like this South Louisiana heat, and it's to get back out and perform live music again. Absence makes the heart grow fonder right? So, DSR will be taking a little summer break to focus on getting some tunes road ready, and maybe put together a lil act together for ya. Can also smell a few other ideas slow cookin too.. The DSR crew was invited to the private screening of Four on the Mantle at the Nims Center in New Orleans, and what an experience! Rachel Jacob’s vision and acting is nothing short but inspirational. Jeremy Dean lights up the screen and the backbone to what productions need! Despite all odds this film’s story needed to be told. The Cast and Crew were a phenomenal display of the talent that our bayou region has to offer. This short film has come together beautifully. We were honored to be part of this event, and so stoked to support these artists' craft! This is the Red Carpet Private Premiere of Four on the Mantle with DSR.

Bad things will always happen to good people, and in most instances it’s someone else at fault. We tell the story of how drinking and driving could cost you. Although this scene is in fact a tragedy and just the start of a long drawn out headache, a lesson to always celebrate life is embedded in the fabric of every tragic moment throughout history. 💀*Spoiler Alert*💀

What a time to be alive in a galaxy far far away.. More New Star Wars series continue to roll in, this time it’s with Obiwan Kenobi. This hyped release reprises roles from the Movie Saga like Ewen Mcgregor, Hayden Christiansin, James Earl Jones, John Williams to name a few. A slew of “New” characters are introduced to the cinematic universe as well. We pickup 10 years after the events of Episode III Revenge of the Sith and fill in gaps between this quarter of a century time period between III and IV. Kenobi bridges stories between Trilogies like they deserve. We finally understand why Ben is Kenobi, What happened to Anakin, and we really do live in the Empire. This series gets a lot right, and is very fulfilling for the long time Star Wars fan and newbies alike. A few hiccups were expected & easily shadowed by the roller coaster ride we were hoping for. So grab your blaster and holster, fire the proton trapedos, and close your eyes for another Star Wars Episode with DSR!

Love knows no bounds, and neither does the human condition. DSR uncovers the merits and struggles of the Netflix reality show: “Love on the Spectrum” Tyler and Cody are no strangers to struggling with mental issues and the general ups and downs of relationships that come with it. This show’s potential to bring awareness to this issue is important, but just like everything else, it brings with it a darker objective; exploitation. So open up your mind and hearts with the Dank Swamp Rebellion.
