Texas Instruments' historic investment will add fabs to three manufacturing sites in Sherman, Texas, and Richardson, Texas, as well as Lehi, Utah.

The investment will bolster U.S. manufacturing capacity for 300mm chips used by Apple, Ford, Medtronic and other customers ushering in the next wave of electronic devices.
