Good morning everyone! Today is the day to review your severe weather safety plan and stock up on any items you made need for your kit including: Batteries, non-perishable food items, water, and etc. The most significant threat for damaging winds of up to 70 mph, hail to the size of golf balls, and tornadoes including stronger tornadoes (EF2+) exists primarily along the HWY 82 corridor and pints south. Those in the moderate and enhanced risks have higher probabilities of those tornadoes. Any area shaded on the map has a chance for severe weather tomorrow. Stay weather aware and have multiple ways of receiving warnings!

Due to circumstances, I probably will be less active as far as chasing goes this spring, ill be more local when I'm not at work, and posts will be a little more scarce. I'm still here, but will be working 2 jobs for the time being until I can get back on my feet. I still look forward to bringing you all content when I'm able to!

Now with that being said... Next week looks to be quite rainy and rounds of heavy rain and possibly a few severe storms. It will be warmer through Thursday.

Good morning everyone! We will begin a warming trend today across Mississippi, 60s and maybe a few 70s expected through Saturday. A cold front is expected by Sunday with temps taking a bit of a dive. Precipitation is questionable. We will get in more detail as we get closer to Sunday.

Quick morning update...

ALL Warnings, Watches, and Advisories have expired.

With that said, areas that did receive any rain or wintry precipitation last night should use caution this morning particularly on bridges and around underpasses. Black ice could be an issue in spots across Mississippi particularly from I20 and points north, especially along the MS/TN/AR borders. It will be cold today for most all of the state, so be sure to bundle up!
