As our voices continue to be stifled for the sake of those in power, may your words serve as catalysts to stand up and be the difference the country needs.
Congratulations passers!

The first of May marks yet another year when Filipinos remain underpaid and overworked. As announced, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is currently holding a nationwide online job fair and summit to celebrate Labor Day. Additionally, some minimum wage workers and overseas Filipino workers under the fourth priority group will be vaccinated against COVID-19 today as part of the celebration.
Labor Day has indeed served as a yearly tradition for the government to come up with one-day programs to blind us from the reality and problems faced by the country's labor force. Decades have passed, and unemployment continues to be a major concern, while many Filipino workers are neglected and denied their rights to fair salaries and working conditions.
Let us all want to celebrate our countryโs passionate and hard-working laborers, but let us also yearn for the time when ordinary workers no longer have to fight for what is rightfully theirs. Filipino workers deserve better.

For the women who continue to fight, for the women who continue to inspire, and for the women who continue to live just because โ ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐ ๐ฎ๐ค๐ช.
Whether it be during the heat of March or the breeze of December, there's all the more reasons to say Kaya Ko, Kaya Ako, Kasi Babae Ako.
