Can’t catch dreams while you’re still in bed.

Although I will admit that the last week has nearly got the better of me with this heat.

Because I am still working a full time job while I’m building this business, working in a stinking hot shed surrounded by welders, hot metal, and with next to no airflow unless you standing directly in front of a fan, by the time iv gotten home of an afternoon, I am absolutely exhausted.

I’ll go sit in my shower with just the cold tap on ( and being summer… the waters warm anyway 🙄)

The physical and the mental strain it puts on my body, is some days absolutely torturous.
I’m sweat from head to toe, I cop 100’s little spatter burns 🔥 (everywhere), standing on my feet for almost 9 hrs in what feels like an oven like some sacrificial roast lamb.

It’s definatly not glamorous in anyway shape of form, and it’s not a job I hate entirely, because I do enjoy welding, but I’d much rather it be on my terms to make something much more interesting.

It’s a constant reminder as to why I started this journey, and why I want to change things.

This afternoon, I got home, sat down ( big mistake😅), I was fighting to keep my eyes open, and I still am just a little, but I need to spend some to fight for what I want for myself and for my future…

“My soul is not set fire by being the best home maker but by growing flowers and plants, shoveling dirt, snow or manure, breathing the cold fresh air, letting them sun beat on my face, and tending animals.
It is not that I can not cook and clean it’s that I desire to be else where.
I’ve struggled with the fact that I am well me. I am a feral woman. As much as I wish I could be the sweet and clean home maker, I am
not.
I finally made peace with this when I saw a quote circulating around that said,
“the term domesticate house wife implies there must be a feral one”

It’s me and other women I know. I am and we are feral women.
We may not have perfect houses but we still make them a home. We may not clean the dishes right after every meal but we can sure cook a good meal. The laundry is lagging but at the end of the day everyone has something clean to wear. We may not be domesticate but it does not make us less.
If anything our strength is found as we carry feed sacks across our shoulders,as we till up dirt to plant gardens, as we end a life to provide food for our families all while we still carry the softness of a woman.
Here is to the feral women. May we be them, may we know them, may we raise them.”

One I’m as comfortable as a pig in mud, the other……let’s just say I’m not a girly girl. 😂

I tell you what though, I did actually enjoy wearing a dress that day, and I even had heels!! (For about 20 minutes)🤭

Iv had my K8 for four weeks now!!

And let me tell ya somethin…
I havnt felt this happy about investing money into something since I bought my Peel Gainey fender back in 2015!

The changes in my gut health and my skin alone have me over the moon! Not to mention those pain in the butt afternoon headaches that I was getting every single afternoon after work.
And it wasn’t because I wasn’t drinking enough water through the day at work.
No, it was a lack of quality water.

I initially stepped into this journey because the business compensation plan really stood out and sparked my interest in much the same way as someone knocking on my door asking if I wanted to go shopping at K-mart; ABSOLUTELY I DO!

Despite not having and payment upfront and being skeptical about getting approved for finance, here it is and damn, I AM HAPPY!!

I genuinely believe EVERY household would reap major benifets from having a K8 machine sitting up on the bench in the kitchen.

So, who said ‘new year, new me’ a couple days ago in the same old tone they last said it last year and the year before?

Are you content with the ‘new you’ you created in 2023?

Not everyone is gunna say yes to that question, and up until the 28th of November 2023…. I wasn’t happy with how far I’d pushed myself.

ALTHOUGH!… by the 29th, I hit a massive shift, both emotionally and physically.

I made a decision, that did take a few more days to really sink in , but I said yes to myself.

I said YES to wanting more;

I said YES to ME;

I said YES to FREEDOM;

I said HECK YEAH! to wanting a better future for myself and everyone hold close.

The biggest change I’m making for ME, is exchanging more of MY time and my hard work for my own dreams, for my own future.
