Another odd and niche brush set I created was the DNA strand. I've just updated this set for 2024 with Intensity and Continuous versions. This brush pack is perfect for those science displays, posters or events that need jazzing up.... or you just want a funky looking ribbon in your design :-D

I have to say, I think this Vines and Twigs Brush set is one of my favorite I've created. It's a repeating brush, that doesn't look like it, and that's hard! With options for 'ended' versions and continuous for shapes and frames. You can also colour them as either an image brush or a texture brush via the stroke options, plus adjust the width with the pressure option.
A really fun brush set!!

We're running a Turrets and Towers challenge on the Affinity Designer - hands on group (winners entry gets pride of place on the group banner)... this is my example of a 100% vector turret. Grabbed some grunge textures from Vecteezy, and used the warp tool in version 2. Come and join in!!!
