President Salva Kiir has fired Finance Minister, Eng. Awow Daniel, Health Ministry Undersecretary, Ader Machar, Petroleum Ministry Undersecretary, William Anyang Deng and Advisor Mohamed Lino Benjamin as well as Nilepet Managing Director Eng. Bennard Amour.

Kiir appointed Marial Deng Ring as Finance Minister, Eng. Mohamed Lino Benjamin as the new NilePet MD, Harriet Pasquale as Health Ministry Undersecretary and Dr Chol Deng, Petroleum Ministry Undersecretary.

Note: The reasons for the dismissal are unknown

Who Is Behind The Political Mess In SPLM-IO In Twic County, Warrap State?

The SPLM-IG’s agents have planted and funded this bitter internal rivalry within SPLM-IO so that Twic will be confused and destroyed for good. In particular, Pan Arop Biong jointly with President Salva Kiir, Governor Kuol Muor and Tut-Kew Gatluak are the major masterminds and funders behind all this mess. They have used some members of SPLM-IO at federal, Warrap State and Twic County levels very successfully to destroy SPLM-IO with these cheap strategic weapons.

Innocent former Commissioner of Twic County, Hon. Deng Tong Goc has joined these elements behind the scene without knowing that the agenda of pan Arop Biong and President Kiir that Kuol Deim has implemented, that sent him to jail and that is closed to the graveyard, had to be resurrected by working very hard to remove Hon. Commissioner, Simon Aguek Chan. I hope he is aware of this!

The sons and daughters of Twic Mayardit Community in the SPLM-IO who want to remove Hon. Commissioner, Simon Aguek Chan by any means possible are desperately blind to the dangerous agenda that President Kiir, pan Arop Biong and Tut-Kew Gatluak are very passionate about it against Twic Mayardit people. They succeeded in recruiting former Commissioner, Deng Tong Goc against the incumbent Commissioner, Hon. Simon Aguek Chan. Kuec Deng Mayar, the incumbent Speaker of Warrap State and national Minister of Health, Awel Deng Juac whose her mother is from Abyei are the cheap tools to unseat the incumbent Commissioner, Hon. Simon Aguek Chan. Her war is hidden in her tasks. It is incredible indeed! I hope he knows that too!

I hope that our former Commissioner, Hon. Deng Tong Goc will pull himself out of this mess. If he doesn’t therefore, his political image is in jeopardy in Twic.

I urge all Twic Mayardit paramount Chiefs, Executive Chiefs, and Sub-Chiefs to denounce such opposition against the incumbent commissioner and stage a demonstration against SPLM-IO administration in Warrap State in a written form. I also recommend that they make it clear that anyone that Dr. Riek will bring as a commissioner rather than the incumbent Commissioner in Twic will force the people of Twic Mayardit to disregard SPLM-IO over SPLM-IG and other parties. Such position will disturb Dr. Riek to make a right choice that favours Twic Mayardit interest and of the SPLM-IO.

Dr. Riek Machar Teny have a tough choice to make: 1) To remove incumbent Commissioner, Hon. Simon Aguek Chan and loss his party’s momentum in Twic or 2) to keep him to continue serving the interest of Twic and of SPLM-IO.

The rest of the SPLM-IO are the internal political enemies of Twic and of SPLM-IO. They are being hijacked internally by President Kiir, Tut-Kew and pan Arop Biong to dismantle SPLM-IO’s strong and progressive political establishment in Twic County.

The people of Twic did not ask President Kiir to assign Twic County to SPLM-IO in the Revitalized Agreement. The people of Twic were not even happy when they heard that Twic County was assigned to SPLM-IO, however, we had to accept the decision that President Kiir had made since we did have any one in the executive to watch out for our fate in the SPLM-IG.

To rest my take, President Kiir, Tut-Kew, pan Arop Biong and Governor Kuol Muor are behind the internal political mess in Twic County. These people are not new to Twic Mayardit community and we know their intentions.

Despite all these evil attempts and intentions, the people of Twic Mayardit community will remain united with the interest of Twic first, led by Commissioner, Hon. Simon Aguek Chan or SPLM-IO in a trash. An evil attempts and intentions to destroy Twic Mayardit Community will not prevail in vain. Dr. Riek must know that or SPLM-IG will take over Twic County now or later. Dr. Riek, choose wisely!

Today marks the brave actions of Twic Mayardit (Kerubino Kuanyin Bol Deng), a true son of South Sudan. On this day, he took a bold step forward, risking his life by defying the orders of the governor's authorities in Khartoum. He fired the first shots at the Sudanese army soldiers who sought to arrest him. His brief yet courageous act led us into the beginnings of the liberation of the Sudanese people through the Sudan People's Liberation Army. Without his pivotal action, we wouldn’t be celebrating the freedom and independence of South Sudan that we cherish today.

The family of Kuol Bol, would like once again to inform the relatives, friends and the general public of Twic Mayardit Community in Juba, that the body of our paramount chief Sultan Ayuel kuol Bol will be flown to Juba afternoon 26th/April/2024,from Cairo, Arabic Republic of Egypt.

Therefore, mourners are informed to gather at the family residence in Gudele Bloc 8 or Juba International Airport at 2:00pm.

Other arrangements shall be communicated upon arrival of the deceased.
