Max&Lexie were born in 18 July 2008. Lexie is now 14 years old. Here are some memories from their life in Ireland and Boston and Ireland. 🙂

We went to Mellifont Abbey on Maundy Thursday, it was Max's last outing, today he went over the Rainbow Bridge.

Guest appearance by the lovely the bernese mountain dog Nala. She was staying with us for a week and that was an opportunity to go up to the Cooley mountains (where Max & Lexie are not able to go anymore). Nala is still a bit puppylike, about 14 months while M&L are 14 years this year.

Two happy old dogs. They've just been dipping their paws in the water, they were even tempted by a pair of seagulls to swim but decided against it: too cold in the water.
Max was to the vet yesterday and got some antibiotics apart from the steroids and other pills and he is much better today. He is not steady on his legs but he loves pottering about.

Low tide on Port Beach. -Lexie is usually slower than a tortoise on walks, but not when she is on a beach.

Lexie is not great at chewing bones (hardly have any teeth), but she loves hiding them, usually in the corner of the couch or armchair.
