Newfoundland & Labrador had the biggest fishery in the world. Conerbook had the biggest paper mill. In the 60s we had the biggest hydro dam called Upper Churchill. In the 70s we had the biggest phosphorus smelter. In the 90s we built the biggest offshore oil rig. Newfoundland & Labrador is a world powerhouse. Why are we so poor? The answer my friend is blowing in the wind. ⬇️
