Jeff Mudgett is the great-great-grandson of America's first serial killer, H.H. Holmes. In the 19th century, Holmes moved to Chicago and constructed the "Murder Castle," a house of horrors designed to lure innocent people from the 1893 World Fair (also known as the World's Columbian Exposition) and kill them. Though many describe Holmes as a psychopath, evidence suggests he was merely a brilliant conman who murdered for personal gain. In this episode, Jeff shares his thoughts on his notorious ancestor.
