I’ve gotten so many questions about the doughnuts that I posted on our Eras Tour movie night. Yes, I made them, everything is edible, and they were super simple to make!

I got the doughnuts at 7-11 which means they are from Glen Wayne Bakery so they’re the best convenience doughnuts around. The “bracelets” are held on with honey, sprinkles for the beads, and the letters are written on smarties with a food coloring pen!

Play moms are in our Taylor era and we never go out of style! Here is some inspiration for all you Swifties!🪩🩷🦋🎤

Getting ready for lots of football fun over here this weekend!

The twins are really into coloring and trying to make shapes and letters lately, so I created this fun tracing worksheet for them to work on their pre-writing skills, field goal style.

I’m also planning on hiding mini paper footballs around the house and seeing if they can count how many they find. They did something similar with snowflakes at our local library, so I’m hoping this activity will be a hit at home too!

Valentines Dessert Dippers 💖

This is probably my fave snack I’ve ever created for any holiday. Stack a raspberry, marshmallow, strawberry and a brownie bite to create the tastiest dessert kabob. Place caramel and chocolate on the side to dip. This is a kid-friendly snack idea (the twins loved it!) but also great for a Valentine’s Day date night in.

When I think of cozy foods, I always think of crockpot meals. And an OG fave crockpot meal in this house is chili.

Usually I do a turkey and pumpkin chili, but we decided to change it up last night using this recipe from and it was a hit. Made some Krusteaz honey cornbread for the side and we had a hearty, cozy dinner on a chilly Monday.

Such a simple quick way to make a festive Valentines treat. 💕

Use premade sugar cookie dough, roll in sprinkles, and pop on a Reese’s Heart before you put them in the oven (350 for 12 minutes) to bake these delicious festive Valentines cookies.

This is also a great recipe for kids to help with. Greyson had so much fun rolling the dough in sprinkles and helping me open (fine motor practice 🎉) and put on the Reese’s.

When I saw these champagne flutes in the Target Dollar Spot, I knew they’d be perfect for Galentine’s Day!

Raspberry sorbet makes the perfect base for a festive cocktail or mocktail. I used sparkling cider in these to share with my little Galentine bestie, but this is also delicious with Prosecco. Top with a cute heart shaped strawberry and you have a perfect festive Galentines drink.

The adult and me class at was so unique, educational, and fun! The twins had a blast and were so excited to come home and share their new knowledge of Italian words they knew for colors and fruit!

What do snowmen do at night? ⛄️

When life gives you snow, make snow angels… or stay inside with hot cocoa.

The have teamed up with some crafty mamas to share some fun activities celebrating snow!! ❄️

After reading “Snowmen at Night” this is such a cute snack to show what snowmen look like after this fun night of adventures.

Cover a graham cracker with fluff. Use a food coloring pen to draw the face on the marshmallow. Attach a Hershey Kiss hat with fluff (a great snack “glue”) and add m&m buttons and pretzel arms. You can accessorize your snowman with whatever you like: gum drops, licorice, etc. to make this a fun snack you can be creative with!

The twins had SNOW much fun putting this snowman together. sent me this cute snowman craft with cotton rounds and I thought that was such a genius idea to create perfect circle snowballs!

Pairing the cotton rounds with felt pieces makes this activity either a one time craft, or it can be reusable like a felt board because the cotton rounds are compatible to also cling with felt accessories. So you can swap out pieces to incorporate different shapes, expressions, colors, patterns, etc.

This could be paired with most snowmen books, but one of our current favorites is “Snoopy’s Snow Day,” where Snoopy gets a snowman BFF. It’s really cute and we definitely recommend it as a snow themed read if you haven’t read it yet!

Snowy Day ❄️

January Sensory Play

I’ve teamed up with some mamas to bring you some fun and educational sensory play activity ideas for January!

Another year, and we haven’t gotten any snow yet on Long Island, but my kids are obsessed, so I tried to bring them some snow fun indoors.

Using coconut flakes and marshmallows as the base, my kids can play in this taste safe snow! They can use their imagination with all the pretend play, but also are able to practice counting, sorting, stacking, and more with all the different items in the bin.

The best part - everything included (with the exception of the penguin who is from a target sensory kit) is from dollar tree, so this is a super affordable bin to put together!

If you need something to entertain your kids at home, while also cleaning things out a bit over this winter break, these DIY crayons were fun and easy to make!

We cleaned out our crayon box and took all the broken crayons, removed the paper wrappers, and broke them into tinier pieces to fit into silicone ice cube tray (we used a snowman one this time) to melt into new crayons.

These were in at 325 for about 10 minutes, but just keep an eye on them as they melt. Some shapes will melt faster/slower than others. Allow to cool and remove to tray. And you have some brand new crayons!

Super simple and fun to make & use!

We had a Grinch movie party last night! 💚

This cookie mix was a great find at this season.

I found these cute printables from and and they were a great addition to add some fun to our night. If you laminate the countdown or use a reusable pouch like I did, you can also use it throughout the holiday season to countdown to Christmas.

Need a snack or dessert for any holiday events coming up?

These chocolate covered Oreos are so quick & easy to make, but look so festive and taste delicious.

I dipped the Aldi’s Peppermint Oreos in milk chocolate (some half, some full) and sprinkled on assorted holiday sprinkles and crushed peppermint. Put in the freezer on parchment paper for about an hour to set and they were ready to go.

I’ll definitely be making these again before Christmas!

I’ll never stop saying this - if you don’t take advantage of your local library and everything they offer, you are missing out! We had the BEST time at our library’s gingerbread house workshop this afternoon. They provided our family with the house and all the decor to work together to decorate our own gingerbread house. The twins loved it! Thank you for this fun holiday event ❤️🎄🎅🏽

My family had such a fun experience at the Baking Coach, Inc. making gingerbread cookies during their open bake time. These kid friendly baking time slots are a great way to go bake something without the mess at home!

The whole process was so easy. We watched an instructional video and had staff on hand to help. You follow one of the Baking Coach kits, so all ingredients are pre measured and recipe is easy to follow.

Not only was this such a fun holiday activity, but these cookies taste amazing too 😍 I had to give some to family otherwise I would have eaten them all!

This space also offers courses for people with special needs, birthday parties, and more! Located right in the Bellport Outlets I definitely recommend you check them out.

Bring some Disney magic to bath time with this new Stokke Flexibath tub!

This tub is perfect for when you’re traveling and visiting a place that doesn’t have a bathtub. It folds down flat for easy transport and simply pops open tor bath time.

The best part is its size! This tub is designed for children up to 6 years old. My kids are TALL and they fit comfortably in this tub without an issues.

DIY Nacho Bar!

My kids love tacos, so we decided to change it up and do a nacho bar this weekend. Everyone loved being able to pick their own toppings, and it was a fun way to get my kids to feel like they were in control of what they were eating but also try some new things.

Another Boo Bash with .mamas in the books 🎉

Loved seeing all the little ones and their families having an amazing time together, but loved even more having these two there all day knowing they were having the best time 💕

Dirt cups: Halloween style 🎃

Looking for a quick, festive Halloween snack or dessert? Check out this Halloween spin on a kid friendly classic.

had these Halloween Oreo-style cookies with green filling, when smashed makes the “dirt” have an oozy look to it. Chocolate pudding topped with cookie crumbs & the traditional gummy worms but also edible eyeballs, it gives the perfect Halloween twist for this dessert.

Spooky cinnamon roll casserole 🎃 🕷️

My kids got a kick out of this spooky twist on cinnamon roll casserole.

Next time, I would not dye the icing black (I was actually trying to do purple 😅) but I think leaving it white would be just as spooky.

To make:
-Chop one can of cinnamon rolls, any brand. Place in greased loaf pan.
-In a small bowl, mix together two eggs, 1/4 cup milk, 1 tsp vanilla & 1 tsp cinnamon. Pour off cinnamon rolls.
-Top/mix in with Halloween colored sprinkles. The non-pariels style work best for this step.
-Bake at 375 for 25 minutes.
-Top with icing (included with cinnamon rolls) and more spooky sprinkles. Edible eyeballs are always a big hit here!
-Enjoy!
