Out with the old, in with the 'new'.

Was experiencing some slippage from the rear diff during the last autocross, so we'll see what a diff replacement does for the TX. Been a minor issue ever since I got the car, but it was usually only during extreme cold and after a fluid change shortly after getting the car it seemed to get better. Well, 7 years of borrowed time later it finally started failing at higher Temps. Maybe I'll even notice the best XWD performance I've ever had after I get the 'new' one in.

There are limits to XWD... Got too close to the side of a trail and it started sliding off and down sideways. Thankfully someone was nice enough to help me out. This is after it was pulled back a few feet already. Was able to drive forward and out from this spot down the hill.

Last day to prepare before it's time to hit the road and an alignment this morning was one of the final steps to get the Turbo X ready. Can't wait to see all the Saabs and their owners this week. Hope everyone has a safe trip!

Fresh paint for the TX spoiler. The old clear ended up peeling off as I sanded, so this took much longer than expected. Still need to wet sand and polish it after it cures, but not sure that will happen before we leave for the Saab museum and SOC. At least it will still look a whole heck of a lot better than it did with the flaking clear. Anyone else have this issue with the Turbo X spoiler?
