It was my absolute privilege to chat with entrepreneur, coach, and a true expander for me, Elisha Covey. We talked about boundaries and how to honour the most authentic parts of yourself- throughout motherhood and relationships, all while embracing your feminine and using it as your superpower.

We are busy at work preparing for our next topic series! But- we have just updated and released our Winter Book List!! Check out our website to see what titles are on our night stand!

I LOVVVE to read! My favourite Disney movie of all time was Beauty and the Beast. For one, Belle had brown hair, and she was not impressed but a strapping, muscular man that adored himself ;) But the second reason that film resonated with me, was ‘her nose stuck in a book’. There was something e...

Pardon me every one- as I totally geek out because for our last episode of our current topic series- Coffee, Brief Cases and Diaper Bags- I got to meet one of my favourite working artists and TV sensations, from across the ocean in Kendall, UK, I chatted with Catherine MacDiarmid

I first came across Catherine on Prime’s Sky Art’s Portrait Artist of the Year competition, and instantly connected to her story as a mom and working artist- and was instantly mesmerized by her body or work and her talent.

We chatted about putting ourselves out there, working with the inner critic and imposter syndrome- which interestingly has been the common thread that everyone guest we have had on this series has grappled with- we chatted about our kids, nurturing creativity, and balancing feelings of responsibility, guilt, and self preservation.

We are back in the studio, and so excited to be kicking off our new topic series, Coffee, Brief Cases and Diaper Bags, with the host of Connected in the Den podcast, Krystie Ann. She is an Energy Worker, Intuitive Medium, Mental Health Advocate, and a personal friend who has created a lifestyle and business for herself by following her intuitive voice, and honouring her authentic gifts. We talked about the choices we have to make to preserve our well being, and safety we can find within out choices, by leading and living with love. We highlighted the importance and impact that positive relationships have on our choices and successes- the ferocious kinds of supports- the ones that you can call and feel safe with to cry and fall apart- without judgements or awkward silences. The ones you know will cheer the loudest for you in a crowd, without hiding envy or jealousy under their breath as we absorb the triumphs.

Despite the several years that has passed, and the ocean that is between us, Krystie and I picked up where we didn't realize we had left off!
