DASH has been reunited!!!

Owner Carly received a call early this morning that Dash’s microchip had been scanned.
Wait for it……..
At a shelter near VENTURA CALIFORNIA.

We don’t know how or why he ended up in Ventura but we have a “sneaky suspicion”.
He is safe, happy & headed home.
Thanks to everyone who shared his post, sent furry vibes & helped in connecting the paws.

Last night just after 11:30 pm, officers conducted a proactive check on an occupied vehicle in the parking lot of McDonald’s on Ramona Ave. Officers contacted the driver who was slumped over the driver’s wheel asleep. Officers observed drug paraphernalia on his lap and in plain view on the front passenger seat was a plastic container with numerous narcotics.

During the consent search of the vehicle, officers located over 45 grams of Co***ne, 187 Oxycontin tablets, 22 grams of M**A, and 641 Xanax tablets. Most of the drugs located were individually packed to be sold. A scale and numerous baggies were also located in the vehicle. Located in the trunk of the vehicle was a loaded Kel Tec 9MM carbine rifle and a loaded High Point 9MM pistol, and three pistol magazines. One of the three pistol magazines was a high capacity G***k 30 round magazine. 30 9MM rounds were also located in the trunk of the vehicle.

This was an excellent observation arrest by our officers where drugs and loaded fi****ms were taken off the streets of Chino.
