Here's the thing about us - we're in the thick of it up in here. We are wives. We are mothers to children with complex issues. We have lupus. We have big dreams and sh*tty days and can procrastinate like no other. And through it all, we're still here. Still growing, learning. Still showing up.

This is a space for all of that and everything else that our journeys bring to our doorstep; this is NOT, however, a space for ANY sort of hate, religion, politics, or otherwise divisive drama.

Ain't nobody got time for that.

From one of our fearless boss babes:

This is my mediation space. It’s become a holding spot for leftover summer projects. Fitting for a woman about to co-launch a podcast called Exploding Lotus. 😂
5 years ago I never would have posted this. 5 years ago I quit social media. As a mom deep in the trenches of trauma I felt shame. I felt guilt at leaving a successful career. I felt alone. Pictures of happy, smiling women and their families were plastered to my feed while I lay curled up sobbing on the bathroom floor. That edited version of life collided with my need for authenticity and a space I didn’t have to apologize for taking up.
So this is me, embracing realness I’m here to celebrate and empower women. Not when everything’s perfect. Not when the time is right. NOW, in the mess and beauty of life. I give myself permission to celebrate.
We are all lotuses rising from the mud. None of us have our sh*t together. Not a one. And that’s ok because the mud is where the magic happens. It transforms us from what we were to who we want to be. And I’m ready to bring it. Anyone else need permission to know your worth?
