Corps Members Seeks partnership with Host Community.
Today being the 25th of April 2020, the Orumba North Corps Members of Anambra State have again taken another vibrant step to contribute their quota in the fight of Coronavirus also known as Covid_19.
They met with the Covid_19 Committee of Ajalli community in Orumba North as a way to synergize on way they can assist in the fight against covid19.
While appreciating the leadership of the NYSC and the presence of the corps members, the chairman of the committee, Engineer Chidi Engr. Chidi Ifionu said the Corps Members have showed true patriotism by standing up to help in this trying time, he further added that they ensure their services are included in their programmes.

In the bids to contribute her qouta in the fight against the global pandemic called covid_19, the National Youths Service Corps members serving in Orumba North LGA of Anambra state have started to engage industries in the local government for partnership.
Visiting the Josan Rice mill situated at Ufuma, the Local Government Inspector, representing the Anambra State NYSC Coordinator, Mr Kehinde Aremu said the visit is to seek for support and partnership between the two organisations in eradicating poverty in the communities of the Local Government and the state at large during and even after the Covid_19 pandemic.
While responding, the General Manager of Josan Rice mill, Mr Nnamdi appreciated the efforts of the NYSC in the Local Government and the state for prompt action in rendering their services to society, he stressed that the company have been giving back to the society right from the inception of the factory and partnering with NYSC will help boost the image of the organisation, stressing that they are willing to partner with NYSC in the fight against the dreaded Coronavirus that is currently ravaging the country.
Mr Nnamdi added that the factory is ready to employ the service of corps members in the organ assured that the company will forward a letter to D&R as soon as possible.
In the samevein, the chief Engineer of the rice Mill, Mr olu Kayode applauded corps members diligence and their awesome strives in fighting against Covid_19, he added that the organisation is willing to donate some lands to NYSC for farming activities stressing that it's part of their efforts to help encourage the Government goal in diversifying the economy and to encourage the youth to invest in agriculture.
