As I walk off campus today, I can’t help but reflect on how grateful I am for this past season as an Adjunct Professor at GCU! I learned so much, was inspired & challenged in many ways, and also met so many incredible humans.
It was awesome! And although I won’t be teaching next semester, I am excited to continue to be a part of the College of Arts & Media and sit on their Advisory Committee and speak into the social media degree program!

I also am proud to share that I have now taken a Lead Marketing Strategist position with CCV, too!! God is so good y’all and I am truly in awe at His works!

Today I went up north to view the new grounds of and for our annual retreat! 🏕
Camp Tuku is a traditional summer camp with a mindfulness approach for kids 6-14 years old ➖ located in Prescott, Arizona. The founder is located in North Peoria and her passion to build resilience in kids while at camp is so inspiring.
It is so fun planning with these ladies ➖ they are so smart, so motivated and passionate.
After lunch, I took a moment to be present and enjoy the fall colors, the sounds and smells (my smell is finally starting to come back!) ➖ and you know what I got to experience… four deer, two coyotes, birds chirping, windy warm breezes, a little lizard, and the smell of a controlled wildfire.
Where Nature Meets Joyful Minds ➖ that’s Camp Tuku’s slogan and boy did I soak it up today!
My two Bigs attended last summer and can’t wait to attend again next year… this time for two weeks!

Simply put, user generated content is sharing someone else’s experience of your business, through their lens… 📷 ✍️ 💭 🎥 It comes in the form of photos, reviews, blog articles, videos, comments and any other media that can be consumed online… not on your platforms but through discover of tagging, googling your business, social searching, and more! Here is the real kicker though… you can invite UGC content creators to do work for you! They are called influencers in todays industry BUT let’s be clear, it doesn’t mean a huge following, only found on Instagram… UGC Content creators have the unique ability to put themselves in your shoes as the business owner to help convey the message & vision you desire, but also the customers shoes to show them a solution to want they are looking for… PLUS more often, they don’t even use all of the content on their own platforms, instead give you all the content to use! If I were you, here is what I would do to launch my UGC efforts: 💡 Start searching for TOP FANS! FB makes it easy, IG makes you work a bit but start by tagged content or DMs. Google & Yelp are amazing platforms to research on too! 💡 Start following local content creators whose content makes you stop your scroll. Doesn’t have to be big influencers, but someone you’ve just gained interest in through their story telling abilities. 💡Start a DM conversation. Thank them for their support, gauge their interest and consider investment. 💡 establish a relationship & be clear on deliverables 💡 create an opportunity for them to come in and 📷 + 🎥 💡depending on deliverables, have them post and collab with them by tagging or links. Use the content on your platforms! 💡 And see the difference in results of only talking about yourself all the time vs incorporating others story, vision and experience!
