The post says it all; if you’ll smile; chances are your spouse will smile. If you’re in a bad mood, angry or dismissive there is a high chance that your spouse will be in a mood later on.
Sometimes I feel so blessed that I tell my wife that I see Sharjeena in her (patience with me, always helping me around and being happy in what we have) and then there are somedays I tell her that I see Rubab 😂. Life is good as long your perspective is good because there could be a million things that could’ve been better and a million things that could’ve gone even worse. Being together should be more important than any other thing. Also I feel It’s always better to concentrate on the good part. It’s not easy but mushkil bhi nahi; specially if you value your spouse.

Apka kya kehna hai is baaray main? Do you think Mustafa should’ve taken help from his Father In Law or was he right to leave his house?

“MARD KI JAIB DEKH KAR SHADI KARO”

I want to share a story I received.

A girl got married in a family of unlimited wealth, husband owned 3 companies, a huge mansion. I know her for 8 years. Everyone envies her wealth. But I never see her happy. I always wondered what is she missing in life; she can travel the world, do whatever she wants. It later came to light that due to a certain disagreement she had with her husband’s older brother (who is basically head of the family) years ago, her husband became indifferent to her. He never abused her but never took a stand for her either. The entire family (which is huge), would make decisions without telling her, anyone could taunt or insult her. Husband would say nothing. Now she has no colour in her eyes. Despite all the wealth of her husband, she calls herself the poorest. What I learnt from this: Mard ki Jaib aap ko security dey sakti hai, izzat nahi. Marrying a rich man does NOT guarantee mental peace. Marrying a considerate man does. If a man respects you, no matter what his financial condition is, he will WORK HARDER for you. He will ensure no one insults you. He will take a stand for you. Mard ki pehchaan uss ki jaib se nahi, uss ki neeyat se hoti hai. Kaam karnay ki neeyat, saath denay ki neeyat. So, instead of finding a rich man, look for a generous man. Man who is wiling to spend on you, not just his money but his support.
After reading this story I want to add my two cents: Money is important but money does not guarantee a peaceful life, it shouldn’t be a reason for your marriage. Secondly it’s good to see how people are opposed to the idea of these toxic people (Noor Jehan, Adeel etc) but it is actually a true reflection of our society which is made by the same people. So are we quiet to point out these people because we’re scared or is it because we don’t have support. DM kehna easy hai ke my Saas is just like that but can you actually make her realise by telling her ye Drama aap par bana hai??
Let’s make this a healthy discussion and find a solution for people in a difficult position.

I was surprised but very happy to see the MultiFaith prayer room in Heathrow. It was very clean, proper area for wudu and lots of prayer mats.
