Senator Dianne Feinstein was truly a maverick who lived a long life of public service. As a former California Bay Area resident for 24 years, I appreciated how influential she was for San Francisco, the region, the state, and the nation. Regardless of our political differences, I hope she will be remembered for her contributions to this country.
