Our food, our medicines, our languages and our lives were and are tightly bound to the land from which we draw life; as we thrive, so too does our environment and those around us. There is temporary shelter set up at the Boys and Girls club in Lame Deer for all impacted by the Re*****on fire.
Crews are still working hard to knock down the fire. Please avoid Tongue River Road between Ashland and Birney, the extra vehicles and "looky-loos" are making it difficult for firefighters to do their job. We will be turning everyone around that we come across.
