Media aspects

1. Deadline (timeline)

As you want to vent into the industry, I have noticed that majority of the time people failed due to not meet a set time/date of a project. Which is one of most essential in media

2. Gatekeeping process.

This is simple so when submitting as a journalist. You have to edit you own work before it reaches the sub editor and chief editor. Another example is for film people. When writing a script keep in mind of the story editor as they usually check the it. Please put attention on editing. In this term I'm saying don't just submit work for the seek of just submitting. You need set a standard that when look at your work they don't get bored of viewing and it will make one look professional. I used this method and it does wonders for me.

3. Planning (arrangements/ conceptualization)

This is the most important part of any media personality. From developmental to post production. This will make you as a media person aware that within the appropriate procurement of this industry, you are verified about the plan and everything with the plans or project is aware of the target set.

4. Contracts.

I know you reading and you saying s**t... But this aspect is the difference marker. For one I have a small production I run. Most of clients will sign a contract in which makes everything in the project aware that the mission at hand is serious and not something you just do for the seek of doing it.

5. Emotions

This part in particular is very, very important. Since this industry is a Creative one. You bond to meet with different characters traits and while production runs. People like directors/ producers/ project managers/ editor. They will bring the pressure to the production because they want everything to go according to plan and feel the heat as majority them are hot head people whom want. And people that are hired are tired and faint hearted people. Let me tell you. it will drain you mental. So do your best to avoid an emotional attach

To artists/ writers out there please make sure you read the contract. when you are offered to work, even if you are freelancing, They are certain clauses in a contract in which both parties involved should accept on or else you will not see any progress in term of creditability and financial. Creatives. I know we like to grab on opportunity but be careful cause this industry is unforgettable and unfair, if you are unarmed with knowledge of standard protocol, you look unprofessional. Main know more about intellectual property rights.

Writing is basically emotional attachment, what you write is what you feel, even for journalists they become subjective towards filing a report, the biggest one are poets and script writers. the emotional part of writing is key for everything as it is only key that one just a good writer or exceptional writing.
